WAMC News Podcast

I have always admired the ease with which Ian interviews on WAMC. From seltzer makers to politicians, sports figures, famous musicians, comedians, and actors (and more), he asks intelligent and relative questions that we want to know the answers to. As someone who only recently started listening to podcasts, I will be following Ian’s! Great job!

So, the show is great and all

I thought this was going to be more like a daily news brief, and I was delightfully surprised that it is not. This is a longer form of journalism than can be broadcast, and it highlights the capabilities of the professionals at WAMC. The station's programming tends to be dominated by the voice of the charismatic CEO–who is also central to four of seven available WAMC podcasts–and this is a well deserved opportunity for others to shine. I now see that this is one of the best NPR affiliates.

This podcast offers special and extended content that doesn’t always show up on the radio. It’s a good listen if you’re a WAMC regular, or if you don’t always stream.
