Darla of Dork

Darla

A Darla is typically a tender-hearted, beloved female human. A “dork” is someone who is kinda smart and goofy/silly. Darla+Dork=Darla Of Dork. I’m really more of a geek but “Darla of Geek” didn’t sound so great. 👉Current task: Learning how to be a SelfAwareRobotMom & celebrating inclusion of the podcast into the iTunes platform!

    RUMPELSTILTSKIN Story Reading

This is the story of Rumpelstiltskin, written by the Brothers Grimm. Rumpelstiltskin is a mythical dwarf. He has anger issues and a desire to either raise a baby or eat a baby...the story is vague about that detail. He attempts to barter his magical spinning skills to gain the baby, but is thwarted because he can’t keep himself from boasting aloud during his nighttime solo dance parties. Enjoy this classic fairy tale.

Original Sleeping Beauty Story: Briar Rose:

Briar Rose by the Brothers Grimm. The original of what we think of as the story of Sleeping Beauty. There’s a talking fish! Storytelling by Darla of Dork may decrease insomnia for some listeners. This statement has not been approved by the FDA and is not meant to treat or cure any disease. Note for sensitivity, this story contains 1 violent incident split into 2 parts, in which a boy is getting his ears boxed, and several incidences of rather generic princes dying, and a finger getting poked by a spindle...but you should’ve expected the spindle to princess violence. Language: English, Inglés
