    Malachi: Overcoming Spiritual Lethargy – Summer of Prophets // August 09, 2026

    As we conclude our Summer of the Prophets series we come to the Malachi. He bursts on the scene at a time that Israel is doubting God's love for them. Let's be honest, it is easy to fall into this lie especially if we base our relationship with God on unfavorable circumstances. The danger of doubting God's love for us is that we can fall into spiritual lethargy which can translate into a drifting away from the person you think no longer loves you. Well, we now come to a prophet by the name of Haggai who is calling the nation of Israel back into focus. What focus you ask? They began rebuilding the Temple of God but after sixteen years of leaving Babylon they have gotten deterred. They are just like us.
