S2E3 BrainFizz VR with Michael Jones on VR history, the present state and future opportunities

I had a fantastic conversation with Michael Jones, founder of BrainFizz VR.  Michael's experience with consumer VR goes back to the Virtual I/O glasses in 1996. This episode has something for everyone, historical context, present-day opportunities, and challenges, along with a prediction about Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) that makes a lot of sense to me. Here are a few links related to the topics we covered: Silicon Valley Virtual Reality Wave  and Lindsey Stirling's recent concert Hubs by Mozilla Amazon Sumerian Challenges with current online Identities Avatars, humanoid, or not? The Immersive Web All feedback is welcome.  If you have a topic request or know someone who I should interview, let me know @kirbyshabaga.  Thank you! Thank you, Michael! Michael T Jones - Founder of BrainFizz VR LLC - Champion for Virtual Reality all the way back to the '90s.

S2E2: A conversation with Luís Bravo Martins on web-based augmented reality.

Luís Bravo Martins is the Head of Marketing at IT People Group and Next Reality, a B2B team of digital transformation specialists in Portugal. We had a fun conversation about how they started their augmented reality (AR) journey using the first iPad and fiducial markers up to present-day experiences with mobile and HoloLens 2. You may hear a prediction or two about consumer AR and how important WebXR is for augmented reality to flourish. Thank you, Luís, for sharing your time and wisdom.
