    The Rays comeback to beat the Angels 8-3. The Rays got behind for the 3rd straight game after the Angels got on the board in the 2nd inning. The Rays took their first lead of the series in the on a Chandler Simpson 2 RBI single to make it 2-1. The Rays added to their lead in the 4th inning on the first homer of the season by Ben Williamson to make it 3-1. The Angels would bounce back to tie the game in the 6th inning before the Rays broke the game open in the 8th. It started with a huge Junior Caminero 2 run homer to make it 5-3. Then Hunter Feduccia hit a RBI single to make it 6-3. Victor Mesa  put the exclamation point on it all. nailing a 2 run homer to make it 8-3.     The Rays get blown out by the Angels 8-0. Nothing went right for the Rays tonight. Angels starter Jose Soriano pitched 5 scoreless innings to start for the Angels. The Rays had multiple chances with runners in scoring position tonight to make it a game but they could never cash in. The Angels got the scoring started in the 4th scoring off a Taylor Walls error to make it 1-0. They added another 3 runs in the 6th to really put the game out of reach and making it 4-0. They added 4 more insurance runs in the 7th to put the final nail in the coffin for the Rays. Griffin Jax started tonight and was one of the lone bright spots. He went 5 IP striking out 5 and not allowing any earned runs.     The Rays drop the series opener to the Angels 4-3. The Angels jumped all over the Rays early. They put up 2 runs in the 1st inning and immediately made the game 2-0. In the 3rd inning the Angels would put 2 more runs up to make the game 4-0. The Rays answered back in the 5th inning. They had all the makings of a big inning with the bases loaded and 0 outs. They would cash in on a Jonathan Aranda 2 RBI single to make it 4-2. The Rays would get a run back in the 9th to make it 4-3 and have the bases loaded with 2 outs to try and tie the game. But Cedric Mullins struck out to end the game. Shane McClahanan started for the Rays and struggled for the first time in a while. He only went 4 IP giving up 8 hits and 4 runs. He still managed to strike out 7 batters in the loss.     The Rays complete the sweep of the Red Sox, winning 7-5. The Rays got the scoring started in the 3rd inning. Taylor Walls helped manufacture a run after hitting a sac fly that scored Nick Fortes. The Rays really broke the game open in the 5th inning. It started with a RBI infield single by Yandy Diaz to make it 2-0. Then Austin Slater hit a RBI double to make it 3-0. Ryan Vilade caped off the scoring in the inning with a Sac Fly that made it 4-0. The Rays got an extra run in the 6th with a Yandy Diaz RBI single to make it 5-0. The Red Sox started their comeback in the 8th inning. They put up 4 runs in the inning to make it 5-4. But Cedric Mullins would give the Rays some much needed insurance in the 8th. He destroyed a 2 run homer to give the Rays some more breathing room at 7-4. The Sox got another run back in the 9th, but it was to little to late after that. Drew Rasmussen started for the Rays and was fantastic. He went 7 IP striking out 13 hitters and not allowing any runs.     The Rays hang on to beat the Red Sox 4-3. The Rays found themselves down 1-0 after the Red Sox scored the first run of the game in the 3rd inning. The Rays would respond with a massive 3 run 4th inning to take the lead. The scoring started for the Rays with a 2 out RBI single by Cedric Mullins. That was followed up by Ben Williamson smoking a double to make it 2-1. Nick Fortes capped off the inning with another RBI double that made it 3-1. The Rays picked up an insurance run in the 6th on a Richie Palacious RBI single to make it 4-1. The Red Sox cut the lead to 4-3 in the 8th. But some clutch pitching by Kevin Kelly and Bryan Baker held the lead for the Rays. Nick Martinez started for the Rays and was awesome for the first 7 innings. In those first 7 innings he allowed just 1 run. He did allow 2 in the 8th but it was still an efficient start.
