EP 81 - Dare, Ditch and Dial: Rethinking the Way We Work with Cherie Mylordis

What does it really mean to lead when the world of work is changing so quickly? In this episode of the Limitless Leaders Podcast, I’m joined by Cherie Mylordis, a leadership, innovation, and change expert who believes purpose, courage, and curiosity can shape better ways of working. Cherie’s career has taken her from helping deliver the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games to founding nextgenify and nextgenify Academy. Along the way, she’s continued to explore what helps people and organisations do meaningful work, adapt to change, and achieve extraordinary outcomes. Together, we explore what it means to lead with purpose and courage, why you don’t need a title to be a leader, and how curiosity, connection, and optimism can help us create more meaningful workplaces. Cherie also shares her Work in 3D approach, including how extraordinary organisations Dare, Ditch, and Dial. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: You don’t need a title to lead. Leadership is about how you show up. Intention, integrity, curiosity, and contribution can have an impact at any level. Purpose needs to mean something. Purpose should guide decisions, priorities, and culture. When people connect their work to something meaningful, it can fuel motivation and engagement. Be a conscious curator. Stay curious, notice what is happening around you, learn from others, and consciously choose what you want to take forward. Dare, Ditch, and Dial. Cherie’s Work in 3D approach encourages leaders and organisations to dare to think boldly, ditch what is no longer serving them, and dial up the practices that help people and businesses thrive. Connection matters. Creating genuine connection helps build trust, contribution, and a workplace where people feel valued for more than their title or job description. Optimism can be practised. Gratitude, exercise, meaningful connections, and focusing on what you can influence can help you stay grounded and optimistic, particularly during challenging times. Growth often happens outside your comfort zone. Cherie shares how saying yes to opportunities before she felt completely ready, including her role with the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, shaped both her career and her approach to leadership. EP 80 - Exceptional Values, Exceptional Care

In this episode of the Limitless Leaders podcast, Di Geddes and I dive into the profound importance of values in both life and leadership. Di Geddes is the founder of Exceptional Care for You, an organisation providing amazing in-home care to those with disabilities, and those receiving aged care funding. She founded the business in 2021 after 35 years in nursing, as she wanted to provide a much higher level of care. She is the author of “Courage to be Me” and, along with being a great RG Dynamics client, a friend, and a quality human being making a difference to all of those around her, she uses her lifetime of challenges as opportunities to grow, and give back to the community. Di shares how Exceptional Care for You was built on a foundation of five core values: teamwork, excellence, compassion, tolerance (openness), and commitment. We discuss how true leadership is a by-product of purpose, leading with the heart, and how defining and living by your values can help you make the toughest business decisions, including walking away from toxic client situations that do not align with your culture. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: Living your core values makes hard decisions easier. Di shares how Exceptional Care for You actively lives by their five core values: Teamwork, Excellence, Compassion, Tolerance, and Commitment. When decisions interlock with your values, it is a yes; when they do not, it is a clear no. Compassion and empathy are essential muscles. For many clients in home care, carers might be the only people they see all week. Taking the time to step back, breathe, and put yourself in their shoes is a crucial part of human-centered leadership. Commitment goes far beyond compliance. True commitment means having a sole purpose and being deeply motivated to show up for your clients and your team, rather than just showing up for a shift. Finding the gifts in our greatest challenges. Di opens up about her personal journey through breast cancer, a difficult divorce, and financial rebuilding, proving that life's hardest moments often provide the building blocks and self-belief needed to create a successful, purpose-led life. The human element is irreplaceable. In a world increasingly driven by AI and automation, genuine kindness, emotional intelligence, and a “good heart” are the ultimate differentiators in business and leadership. Self-belief is the foundation of growth. You only achieve when you step out of your comfort zone. Cultivating the self-belief to take risks is the key to stepping into strategic leadership and creating a meaningful impact. Contact Di Geddes: Exceptional Care For You Website Enjoy This Podcast? EP 79 - From Survival to Limitless: Renée's Real and Raw Story of Moving Beyond Adversity

We work in a fast-paced world filled with technological shifts, economic changes, and daily disruptions. Adversity and challenges are guaranteed to cross our paths, but challenging situations themselves aren't the gift: it's the lessons we extract from them that give us power. If we don't embrace these lessons, we risk repeating the same patterns without growth. In this deeply personal, unscripted solo episode, Renée opens up about her raw journey through extreme adversity over the last few years, including rebuilding her business after COVID-19, navigating 65 cancer treatments, and overcoming severe medical complications and a near-death experience. Moving far beyond traditional resilience, Renée shares how mindset, purpose, and self-awareness can take you from surviving to living limitlessly. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: The following tips and strategies will help you navigate adversity, find the lesson, and rise above challenges: 1. Realize that nothing is guaranteed Audit where you spend your time and energy, ensuring you focus on what lights you up, and make choices that align with your well-being. Create daily “happiness bubbles” by reflecting at night on three moments that made you smile or brought you joy. 2. Define your purpose and flip your values Identify five things you refuse to stand for, such as stagnancy or status quo, and flip them into your five core values. Anchor your life around your underlying purpose and the problems you love to solve for others. 3. Nurture real human relationships Recognize that in an AI-driven world, your lived experiences, stories, and ability to connect at a human level are your greatest differentiators. Embrace the “train theory” of relationships. Understand that while some people get off at certain stations, others are destined to ride with you forever. 4. Move through the 5 stages of adversity to become Limitless Map your journey through the framework: transition from Surviving to Steadying, Strengthening, Rising, and ultimately becoming Limitless. Ask yourself two critical reflection questions: “What is this adversity teaching me?” and “Have I allowed myself to rise, or am I staying in survival mode?“ 5. Practice inward luxury and celebrate small wins Focus on accessible, non-material self-care, such as proper rest, quiet moments, and scheduling non-negotiable health appointments. Create a “Legends Folder” in your email to store positive feedback and wins, giving you an immediate mental boost when facing tough times. By extracting lessons from challenges, you stack layers of learning that help you unlearn, relearn, and continuously evolve. Don't wait until a crisis has passed to look for growth. Reflect on your journey every day. Recognize where you sit on the path from survival to limitless, use your adversity as a catalyst for growth, and keep being limitless. Enjoy This Podcast? EP 78 - Journalism, Leadership, and the Art of Curiosity

Great leadership is not just about technical expertise. It is about mastering the tricky people part. In this episode of the Limitless Leaders podcast, I sit down with communication and human skills expert, Leah Mether. Leah is the author of Soft is the New Hard and Steer Through the Storm, and she specialises in helping leaders regulate themselves under pressure, and navigate change with a practical, straight-shooting style. She shares her fascinating journey from small town journalist to global thought leader, and reveals how the art of deep curiosity, and authentic connection can transform your leadership style. Leah’s unique advice tackles the reality of leading teams through high pressure. This conversation is packed with actionable insights just for you if you have ever struggled with difficult workplace conversations, emotional regulation, or moving past old-school command-and-control management. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: The journalism advantage is essential for building corporate foundations. Building deep rapport, practising active listening, and honouring vulnerability as a gift lays the ultimate foundation for corporate leadership. Soft skills are actually the hardest power skills to master. Emotional regulation and human communication are the toughest power skills to master but they are absolutely essential to replace outdated command and control management. The reality of peopling requires a major shift in focus. Technical brilliance is no longer enough when you are promoted into a management role because your success now rests entirely on your ability to lead human beings. Caring for your team is the core requirement of effective leadership. A candid reality check on why you simply cannot lead a team effectively to get their best work if you do not genuinely care about people. Embracing your career pivot creates a more authentic presence. Embracing your personal backstory and multi-passionate nature allows you to develop an authentic leadership voice rather than putting on a forced performance. EP 77 - Why Energy is Your Most Powerful Leadership Tool

Leadership is about combining commercial business sense with a human, energetic sense. In this episode of the Limitless Leaders Podcast, I sat down with Gitte Madelaire, owner of Evoke New Leadership, visionary pioneer, and author of Energetic Leadership, to explore what leadership really requires in a world where employees demand more spiritual and sustainable business models. Gitte challenges old, outdated leadership habits and invites a deeper conversation about what tapping into intuition really means in practice, moving us from “woo-woo” to “woo-hoo!”. This conversation is a timely reminder that while modern life design often collides with outdated habits, it is our ability to pause, find stillness, and practice inner sustainability that creates clarity, connection, and meaningful impact. The leaders who thrive are not those trapped in the past, but the brave and curious ones who lead truthfully from the inside out. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: Walking on two legs is essential for balance. Merging our performance-driven, logical energy with our intuitive energy allows us to lead holistically with our head, heart, and gut. Stillness is a leader's secret weapon. Finding time to pause, be still, and tune into your unique leadership frequency is vital for inner sustainability and navigating the dance between the ego and the soul. Energetic leadership rests on three pillars. True transformation requires foresight (looking out the window at future trends), personal development (grounding and presence), and business transformation (the courage to act on your purpose). Curiosity and foresight drive high-performing teams. Teams that dare to be brave, curious, and responsible possess the awareness and ability to anticipate future trends and act upon them. Small “energy snacks” create big shifts. Taking just 60 seconds to close your eyes, stepping into nature, or singing a song can profoundly boost your mood, presence, and energetic frequency Contact Gitte Madelaire: Gitte Madelaire Website Gitte Madelaire on LinkedIn Gitte Madelaire on Instagram Enjoy This Podcast? EP 76 - Celebrating 20 Years of Growth, Gratitude, and Grit

Twenty years in business. It feels both significant and deeply humbling to say that out loud. In this solo episode, I take a moment to pause and reflect on the journey. From leaving what I often describe as the “safe cocoon” of corporate life, to stepping into the unknown, and building RG Dynamics from the ground up. It was not a decision I made lightly, and like many of you, I did not have everything mapped out. What I did have was a strong sense that there was something more I was being called to do. Over the years, there have been many highs, along with challenges, uncertainty, and moments where I have had to dig deep and reconnect with why I started in the first place. What has kept me going is not just the work itself, but the impact. Supporting leaders, working with teams, and helping create workplaces where people can truly thrive, communicate effectively, and lead with intention. What I know for sure is this. It has never just been about building a business. It has always been about purpose. And while so much has evolved over the past two decades, that purpose has remained constant. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: Your vision becomes your anchor. When you run your own business, there is no one else setting the direction. Your vision guides your decisions, especially during the uncertain moments. Purpose must stay at the centre. The way you deliver your work will evolve, but your why should remain clear. Purpose is what keeps you grounded through change. Growth requires adaptability. Over 20 years, I have seen industries shift, leadership evolve, and expectations change. Staying open and willing to adapt is essential. Leadership starts with self-leadership. You cannot effectively lead others if you are not willing to lead yourself first. Awareness, discipline, and resilience matter. Relationships are everything. At the heart of every successful business and every great leader is the ability to connect, communicate, and build trust. Reaching 20 years in business is not just about longevity. It is about learning, evolving, and continuing to show up with intention. If there is one thing I hope you take from this episode, it is this: stay connected to your purpose, trust your vision, and keep growing. As part of this milestone, I am hosting a complimentary live webinar to share the most powerful leadership insights I have learned over the past two decades. In today’s rapidly changing world, technical knowledge alone is not enough. The leaders who stand out are those who connect, communicate, and lead with genuine human intelligence. In this 90-minute session, I will introduce the five essential behaviours of Leadership Intelligence every modern leader must master. EP 75 - Beyond AI: Why Fully Human Leaders Thrive

Artificial intelligence is accelerating at pace, reshaping how organisations operate and how leaders make decisions. Yet while technology evolves rapidly, the real differentiator is not intelligence alone. It is our ability to adapt, to think critically and to lead with humanity. In this compelling conversation, I am joined by Tané Hunter, Founder of Future Crunch, and Dara Simkin, Founder of Culture Hero. Together, they are co-authors of the book Full Stack Human, a powerful exploration of cognitive bias, adaptability and what it means to lead consciously in complex environments. We explore why adaptability is not a personality trait but a practice, why outdated leadership operating systems are becoming liabilities, and why being fully human is not a soft skill in an AI-driven world. It is the competitive advantage. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: Adaptability is not a personality trait. It is a practice that can be trained and strengthened. AI can replicate intelligence. It cannot replicate human courage, emotional nuance or meaning-making. Cognitive bias quietly shapes leadership decisions more than most executives realise. High-performing teams are built on psychological safety, clarity and coherence. Outdated leadership models that reward certainty and control are becoming liabilities. Optimism grounded in evidence is not naïve. It is strategic. The leaders who thrive do not prove they are brilliant. They create environments where others can be. Being fully human is not a weakness in business. It is the competitive advantage. EP 74 - Lead Your Own Health: Breast Density and Early Detection with Professor Wendy Ingman

As leaders, we often take responsibility for others long before we prioritise ourselves. We show up, push through, and trust that doing the right things will be enough. But when it comes to our health, especially women’s health, awareness and self leadership can be life saving. In this episode of The Limitless Leaders Podcast, I sit down with Professor Wendy Ingman for a conversation that invites us to lead ourselves first. Tune in as this interview could save a life. Following my own breast cancer diagnosis in 2024, this discussion explores breast density, early detection, and why informed awareness, asking questions, and advocating for yourself are some of the most important leadership decisions you will ever make. Prof. Wendy is a leading breast health researcher at the University of Adelaide and the founder of Informd, a not-for-profit dedicated to educating women and communities about breast density and breast cancer screening. You can watch the podcast here, click the image below, or listen on your favourite platforms. Key Takeaways: Breast density matters more than many women realise. Prof. Wendy explains what breast density is, how common it is, and why it can make breast cancer harder to detect on a standard mammogram. You cannot feel breast density. It is identified through imaging, which is why asking about your breast density after a mammogram is an important act of self leadership. Self advocacy saves lives. We discuss why trusting your intuition, asking questions, and seeking further investigation when something does not feel right is critical, even when results appear clear. Breast awareness over rigid checking. Knowing what is normal for you, including changes in your breasts and under your arms, supports earlier action without creating unnecessary fear. Screening is a leadership decision. Australia’s breast screening program is a powerful, free resource, and showing up for regular screening is one of the most practical ways women can lead themselves well.
