    Matthew Week 150 (Chapter 26)

    Matthew Week 150   1 Peter 2:21 ESV   21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.       Hebrews 12:2-3 ESV   2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.   3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.       John 18:15-16 ESV   15 Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he entered with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest, 16 but Peter stood outside at the door. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the servant girl who kept watch at the door, and brought Peter in.       Matthew 26:69-73 ESV   69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard. Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. 56 But all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled."
