Road to Detroit, Presented by Carhartt Episode 16: Legends of the Fall

In our Season Finale, we spotlight the performances of Tigers prospects in the Arizona Fall League. Everyone has a friend who likes to “keep it real”, and in the Tigers system, no one keeps it more real than outfielder Eric De La Rosa, who provides great insight on what’s led to his rise through the ranks. Pitcher Zack Hess, who spent the season as the closer in West Michigan, also joins host Dan Hasty along with a surprise guest (you may remember him from such drafts as the 2020 MLB Draft) to help close out this season of the RTD. The show also gives out its end-of-season awards with the second edition of ‘The Roadies’.

A Rawlings Gold Glove winner at the college level with NC State, Murr has begun his pro career, hitting over .300 with an on-base percentage over .450. Road To Detroit presented by Carhartt Episode 12: Beau on the Go

We’ve seen how MLB Pipeline and Baseball America feel about the Tigers top prospects, but what does Tigers management think about players like Spencer Torkelson, Riley Greene and Reese Olson? Host Dan Hasty checks in with Assistant GM David Chadd, who offers insight on how the organization looks at the players who’ve been making the most noise in the minor leagues. Plus, perhaps the biggest surprise of the season is the show’s featured guest, as SeaWolves starter Beau Brieske talks about his rise from 27th round draft pick to one of the franchise’s up-and-coming young pitchers.

Best-Kept Secret

Easily the best show that people haven’t heard of. I wish there were new episodes during the off-season, but the ones we get are really well done. Props to Dan Hasty and the Tigers for putting this together.

Best Tiger Minor league podcast!

Amazing show! Dan Hasty is flawless in his delivery and gives us a glimpse into many of the Tigers Minor League prospects—including prospects well beyond the top 30. The show is fun, informative and well polished. Tiger fans are lucky to have an opportunity to listen to a show like this!

Excellent Content. Entertaining Presentation.

After years of sub-par podcasts from the Tigers, The Road To Detroit debuted in 2019 to spotlight the main thing that Tigers fans we’re excited about - the team’s future. From the first episode, host Dan Hasty brought a refreshing level of professionalism and expertise (he is the play by play voice of the Tigers’ High-A affiliate).

The interviews of rising star players and top prospects are timely and revealing. Also, you’ll hear Tigers executives detail their outlooks from time to time. Nobody else does this!

Kudos to the Detroit Tigers, host Dan Hasty & producer Nate Wangler for a job well done!
