Chapter 1: Kara and her experiences as a 3-pointer

Kara kept her eyes downcast as she hurried through the crowded streets, hoping not to attract attention. Blending in was a survival skill all 3-pointers learned from childhood. Going unnoticed meant avoiding the disdain and discrimination that plagued her kind.

Welcome to 5 + 3 = 4

Welcome to a world divided, where people are born with either three points or five points protruding from behind their hairline. These markings determine their place in society, with threes and fives leading mostly separate existences. That is until a mysterious four-pointed stranger passes through, suggesting for the first time that four points are also possible. Years later in the remote village of Brynne, a secret romance blossoms between Anja, a three-pointer, and Hamish, a five-pointer. Their love defies generations of tradition forbidding affection between their kinds. Yet Anja and Hamish persist, trusting that one day circumstances might change to allow them to be together. Whispers of an ancient ritual that can pass a point from a five-pointer to a three-pointer give them hope. Though no one knows how the ritual works, Anja and Hamish wonder if it could be real. Could they use it to both gain four points, finally uniting them fully in the eyes of society? The stage is set in the sleepy village of Brynne for this remarkable drama to unfold. Anja and Hamish's forbidden love faces obstacles, but their bond gives them the courage to question outdated prejudices. When the wheels of fate begin to turn, the pair may change their world forever and prove that love transcends any boundaries placed upon it. This star-crossed tale challenges preconceived notions and celebrates the endurance of the human spirit. Join us as we follow Anja and Hamish on their journey towards hope, equality, and a future without limits for their love. Theirs is a story for the ages.
