WRYAT-INDIE presents The (Mostly) One-Shots: A Deep Cut Deep Dive

We're letting our OTHER sister not-even-for-non-profit radio station take the reins this week, and that's why this compilation looks the way it does. WRYAT-INDIE may technically qualify as a label, but that's the only label they'll accept, and they wanted their installment of our post-series compilation series to showcase all of the standalone, independent & non-recurring segments—or "one-shots"—that aired on WRYAT proper over the years.  WRYAT-INDIE admirably wants to acknowledge the programming that aired once and only once on WRYAT. Sometimes, you really do get everything perfect on one go-round. You've said all you need to say and what you ended up having to say was the final word. There's a lot of integrity in that. We recognize and commend WRYAT-INDIE for their commitment to obscure-or-otherwise-lesser-known-public-and-local radio-parody-podcast-sketch-comedy preservation. WRYAT proper also wants to acknowledge that we've been in this non-profit, private, profit and non-private business long enough to understand that not all one-shots are created equal, and that's why the title of this compilation looks the way it does. For alongside the one-shots so prominently featured on this week's extra large marathon, WRYAT proper has also included every one-shot adjacent miniseries (any series with three or fewer segments total) ever aired across its historic eight-year run. Yes, sometimes one segment is all you need, but most of the time, one segment isn't enough to get across your vision for a particular project, and that's why you'll give it a second or third try, even though it's becoming more and more clear with each attempt that it's just not working out the way you wanted, and you've really gotta call it quits on this one because you still have a ton of important shit to do that you've been putting off or outright ignoring in your crazed quest to harness the full artistic potential of "The Orleans Food & Follow Up Show" on your silly voice comedy podcast that you do with your friends for free.  ANYWAY, as we head into yet another ghost-filled Labor Day weekend, please enjoy WRYAT-INDIE's presentation of "The (Mostly) One (to Three)-Shots: A Deep Cut Deep Dive," and hear all that WRYAT had to offer apart from all that WRYAT outwardly chose to offer! See you again in a few weeks for a few more compilations! Have a safe and spooky Labor Day, everyone!

WRYAT-UNI presents The Chronological Tedward Chronicles

Sup, dudes? We're kicking it to our sister college radio station for our post-series compilation series this week with The Chronological Tedward Chronicles! This extra special collection spotlights the young Tedward Murphy, who grew up before our ears as he literally came of age hosting no fewer than three separate WRYAT shows across two separate WRYAT stations during WRYAT's eight-season tenure. Frequently paired with his best friend and original college roommate, Steve-O (no, not that one), Tedward attempts to learn a lot about life over the course the hit college radio program Dorm Talk, a talk show about dorm life, which eventually transitions into Tedward Talks, a post-graduation talk show about Tedward's life, which itself eventually transforms into TedEx, a young adult talk show about Tedward's and his many exes' lives. Navigating your 20s is oftentimes stressful and difficult, but ol' Tedward's here to show you that it could always be a lot weirder and worse. So sit back, relax, grab your nearest Novelty Water Pipe, box of Slim Jims and case of Mountain Dew: Code Beer because it's time to get acquainted with Tedward, dude. At the very least, you're guaranteed to learn more about the world listening to this podcast than Tedward has ever learned about literally anything at all, and he's gonna be in hella student loan debt for the rest of his life. Ah, but he'd do it all again the exact same way if you gave him the chance. His has a very limited skill set, you see. Anyway, enjoy the show(s), ddes!

Welcome back, team! We're here with another exciting super-sized post-series compilation just in time for the World Cup Final! That's right, we're talkin' nothin' but sports this week! Although this particular compilation only chronicles all things N.O. Soccer from June 2019 through December 2025, no self-respecting fan of the most beloved sport in the entire world should head into this incredibly important weekend without the analysis, wisdom and insight of WRYAT's own team of sports commentators, journalists and reporters, all of whom are led by the biggest soccer fan and expert of them all: Bryan TBD! Relive the twirling highs and the spiraling lows of the past six years of N.O. WRYAT presents The Boomer Zoomer Movie Review: The Entire Filmography

Three...two...one...action! It's time to listen to every entry in WRYAT's critically acclaimed hit movie review series, The Boomer Zoomer Movie Review! It's the only show of its kind to bring together two film critics from different generations to talk about all things movies! The critics themselves are, respectively, a boomer and a zoomer who are...actually named Boomer and Zoomer. Not sure how that happened, but at least their names are consistent. The name of this show isn't, however, and you'll realize that almost immediately, but to call it The Entire Filmography of The Boomer Zoomer Movie Review/The Zoomer Boomer Movie Preview/The Boomer Zoomer Movie Recap/The Zoomer Boomer Movie Review/The Boomer Zoomer Movie Preview/The Zoomer Boomer Movie Revue and The Boomer Zoomer Movie Recap would be downright silly. However, their show's title aside, Boomer and Zoomer the people remain true to themselves and their unbridled passion for cinema throughout, and in listening to their journeys through film history, you may just end up learning something new about yourself, art, or the world we live in. You will absolutely learn how many times a grown-ass man in his late 70s can get COVID and somehow continue to live, motivated almost solely by the selfish desire to go see Forrest Gump II again in theaters, even (especially?) if it means infecting literally everyone else in attendance with a potentially lethal virus. So if that sounds like a good time to you, congrats, you'll get all of it and more in this taut 200-minute package. WRYAT proudly presents The Boomer Zoomer (in either order) Movie Review (or any variation thereof): The Entire Filmography for your listening consideration. Thank you, and God Bless Hollywood, USA in America.
