I got a Mac at work and now I have an Apple ID and now I can leave a review! You are so welcome :p
There are a lot of things I could say about this podcast, but I want to share specifically what it means to me. As a millennial going through a pandemic, I have a pretty small circle. My friends are almost all online friends, and I’ve been pretty hunkered down for the last year. There have been a lot of lonely times, and there have been a lot of quiet mornings at work where I have been a little adrift in my own difficulties. Podcasts in general are where I find the most peace, and Pod Appetite is where I find my joyful peace.
These women, you guys. They’re close with each other, and that closeness makes for a welcoming and sparkling podcast that floats down like a group of fairy godmothers, changing the dress from pink to blue to pink again. They are the Prosecco of podcasts, sweet and ready to make you giggle. When life crashes down, when the publication they used to review was dismantled, Pod Appetit has been there, real and present, like you wish you could’ve been with your friends this last year.
Maybe I need another hobby or something, but the hour I spend with these ladies each week or so is a time I feel like a girl hanging with her friends, even if I’m all alone in my kitchen.
Also tell LJ the bebe is cute but she is missed!
