I'm a first time listener to the Everyday Magician podcast and I must say this show is nothing short of amazing. I love how Alex dives into his backstory so that we have a better understanding of why he starting doing magic in the first place. It adds a lot of flavor and authenticity to the entire experience.
I grew up being very shy too so I can definitely relate to his story. In fact, I'm sure most of us can relate on some level. The way he ties his past experiences into his reasoning for doing magic is inspiring, as is the way he keeps that childlike sense of wonder and imagination - which is so important for all of us, especially as we get older.
As someone who struggles with an anxiety disorder, I can say that I understand where Alex is coming from. I've always had a hard time making eye contact with people. I started livestreaming to help me overcome this - Alex's story of how he came to be a magician to overcome this is nothing short of inspiring.
We all have our ways of dealing with it, but Alex's use of magic is such a, well, magical way to it and is just a great way to develop in that aspect of life. I'm looking forward to hearing more about Alex, his journey, and his magic. This show gives me hope and motivation in a truly wonderful twenty minute package.
