    013: Low Hanging Fruit

And now for something completely different. I’ve decided to take the next year and explore an idea I’ve had for a while about the Fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23. These are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control. I invite anyone who is interested in cultivating these in their life to join me as I explore the idea that they are freely available and easily accessible to all. 012: True Stories

This weeks topic is something I’ve been thinking through for a while now and my friends The Miser and The Mime helped give me some clarity. When we are wanting to change what our story is sometimes we are told to “write a new story”. For myself I find it can be more about telling myself a “true story” of how goodness and abundance have already showed up in my life. Join the conversation! 010: My Child My Mirror

I see myself in my child, good and bad, all the time. I’m recognizing patterns in her life that she learned from me and seeing it from the outside it doesn’t look so good. She creates how she experiences the world around her from the stories she tells herself. We all do - so I started to think about how to change the stories we tell our selves. I recorded this episode at the beginning of October but didn’t take that next step to publish it. Which is some what ironic. So have a listen and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

009: The Stories We Tell - Power Series Part 3

Transitions are tough, and when we are trying to keep multiple balls in the air inevitably one is going to fall. My management of my mindset and the inner work I am doing for myself has been the ball that dropped for me. But in staying aware and observant of my own life I noticed something in my daughter that I believe is a reflection of myself. She has been allowing the “what if’s” and “always” and “nevers” to control the stories she tells herself about her life. I’ve had to tell her to stop telling herself scary stories and realized I needed to do the same for myself. As humans we are always telling ourselves scary stories - it's all in what you think.
