When Your Knees Need Prayer More Than Pity

Eleven surgeries can change how you look at your own body. Divorce can change how you look at your life. When a woman walks into church carrying both, we’re reminded how easy it is for suffering to make someone feel invisible and how powerful it is when someone simply sees you and asks what you need. We talk through her story: the heaviness we sense right away, the long list of physical issues she names, and the accident that left her badly hurt after a fall from a horse. Then we share what happens when we pray. We’re careful about big claims, because not every healing story lands with a neat ending, but we can’t ignore what we do see: her demeanor shifts and it looks like hope comes back. For anyone searching for prayer for healing, Christian encouragement, or faith support through chronic pain and loss, that “hope returning” moment is worth sitting with. From there, we dig into what it looks like to keep pressing in when results are slow. We point to Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24, and we talk about declaring what God says even when your body or circumstances argue back. If you’ve ever wondered how to pray when you’re worn out, how to hold onto Bible verses about healing, or how a church community can support someone in the middle of a hard season, you’ll find a clear, grounded path forward here. If this encourages you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review. What helps you keep pressing in when you’re still waiting? Have a prayer request? Send us a text! When Your Chest Starts Hurting During Prayer

Your body starts hurting for no reason and it won’t let up. Do you ignore it, push through it, or treat it like a prompt to pray for someone standing right in front of you? We tell a true-to-life story from a Sunday night Encounters Healing Service where a young man receives prayer and healing for a hip problem, plus a prophetic nudge: people at his popular city restaurant are going to notice the change, and he’s meant to tell them what happened. Two weeks later he returns, not alone, but with a young woman from work who looks genuinely scared to be in church. We slow down long enough to show how welcome, safety, and simple kindness can matter as much as any dramatic moment. Then the atmosphere shifts. A sudden, intense pain hits around the heart and becomes a “word of knowledge” that points directly to the guest’s condition. When she finally shares her diagnosis, we pray specifically for cardiac autoimmune disease and declare a “new heart from heaven” in the name of Jesus. We also talk honestly about the weight that can come with ministry like this, including lingering physical heaviness after a strong word of knowledge. We close with a direct prayer for listeners who took the COVID shot and are now experiencing autoimmune symptoms or heart disorders, asking for healing and restoration. If you’re curious about Christian healing, prophecy, words of knowledge, and what faith-filled prayer can look like in real life, press play. What If Your Body Is Waiting On Bold Faith

A strange sensation hits while we’re preaching and it’s not a metaphor. Mid-message about the centurion and the kind of faith that amazes Jesus, an unexpected “bubbling” feeling shows up in an ear and we stop to ask a simple question: who has an ear problem? What unfolds is a vivid healing testimony that moves from awkward silence to sudden clarity, and from a physical symptom to a deeper story that needed compassion just as much as prayer. We pray for three people and nothing changes at first, which is an honest look at how healing ministry can actually feel in the moment. Then one man describes the exact bubbling sensation we sensed. We pray again with focused faith, declaring healing in Jesus’ name, and within minutes the bubbling stops. Relief turns into laughter, and we hear how much the condition has affected his sleep and daily life. If you’re searching for Christian healing stories, prayer for the sick, and practical examples of listening to the Holy Spirit, this is a grounded moment that doesn’t skip the process. Then a word of knowledge lands with unexpected weight: the name Robert. What seemed random becomes personal when the man shares his father’s name and the pain tied to abuse and unresolved issues. We shift into inner healing prayer, asking God to lift the burden and heal the heart, not just the body. More physical breakthroughs follow, including healed ankles, plus a bold prayer for sciatica affecting his wife at home, pointing to the possibility of distance healing rooted in biblical faith. If you’ve ever wondered how faith, words of knowledge, and compassion can work together in a real service, press play. What If Your Miracle Happens In Your Seat

She doesn’t come forward for prayer because she doesn’t want to look selfish and that’s exactly when the miracle happens. We’re sharing a powerful healing testimony from a miracle healing service at Rivergate Church, where a word of knowledge is given for a left ear, but the woman who needs it stays in her seat. What happens next is a quiet moment that turns into a life-changing breakthrough. Linda Budd walks us through the timeline: on a previous visit, she gives a word of knowledge for a left hip and tells the woman to walk the aisle as a response. The testimony is straightforward and bold: she receives a new hip. Later, when Pastor Joel (Linda’s husband) gives a word of knowledge for a left ear, she hesitates, thinking others need prayer more. That inner debate is something many of us recognize, especially if we’ve carried chronic pain, hearing loss, or disappointment for a long time. Then Jesus meets her where she is. While she remains seated, she feels tingling in her ear, and her deaf left ear is fully healed. We close with a direct prayer and declaration for anyone dealing with deafness, hearing loss, or a left hip problem. If you need hope for your body or you want to understand how words of knowledge and healing prayer work in real church settings, this is for you. What Happens When Faith Calls Out The Body By Name

A single image flashes to mind during ministry and it’s specific enough to make the whole room go quiet: “I see a picture of a pelvic.” We share what happened next, step by step, as Linda Budd speaks up, asks if it resonates, and watches a man in the front row confirm it immediately. He’s been told he has a dropped pelvic, and the moment turns from an impression into a personal crossroads of vulnerability, faith, and hope. We talk about the kind of spiritual gift many Christians call a word of knowledge and why specificity matters when we pray for healing. There’s no build-up, no polished script, just a real-time decision to act on what we believe God is highlighting. Linda also shares an honest detail that grounds the story: she didn’t even know what a dropped pelvic was and had to look it up afterward, which reframes the moment as obedience rather than expertise. The episode closes with a direct, compassionate prayer for anyone listening who’s dealing with pelvic issues, pelvic pain, or other pelvic health concerns, declaring healing in the name of Jesus. If you’re curious about Christian healing testimonies, faith-based prayer, and how spiritual gifts show up in ordinary people, this short listen will stay with you. Jesus Sees Your Pain And Heals More Than One Thing

A single moment of prayer turns into a two-part healing testimony, and it raises the kind of questions you can’t easily shrug off. We hear Linda Budd describe receiving a word of knowledge during an Encounters Healing Service for pain on the left side of the hip. A woman named Carrie responds, comes to the front, and gets a bold instruction: test it right now. When she walks steps without pain, the story shifts from hopeful to immediate.  But it doesn’t stop with hip pain relief. Linda shares a second word of knowledge for a gastrointestinal issue, and Carrie again identifies herself. The prayer becomes direct and uncompromising, mixing deliverance ministry language with a declaration of physical restoration: new intestines, a new stomach, and an end to the problem in the name of Jesus. If you’re curious about Christian healing ministry, faith healing testimonies, and what “prayer for healing” sounds like in a live service, this is a concentrated example.  The heartbeat of the segment is simple and pastoral: “Jesus sees you.” We talk about the idea that God doesn’t only address one struggle at a time, but meets the whole person, including multiple physical issues. Listen, reflect, and join the conversation: subscribe for more, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review with your honest take on healing today. Have a prayer request? The Day A Temple Ache Turned Into A Miracle

Hereditary cancer can make you feel trapped before you ever get a diagnosis. When someone says, “It runs in my family,” what they often mean is, “I’m bracing for the next round.” We tell a short, intense story from a healing service where a friend stands up with a word of knowledge about pain in the temple area near the eye, and a woman responds with a startling connection: she just had skin cancer removed from that exact place, but she’s terrified because it keeps coming back in her family. From there, we move into what Christian healing prayer looks like when it gets specific. We invite her forward and begin to declare, out loud, that the power of God is changing what has been repeating. We talk about deliverance from hereditary disease, what it means to confront the fear of recurrence, and why a clear declaration can feel like a lifeline when medical history has taught you to expect the worst. A key turning point comes with a scripture that lands like a promise for anyone battling relapse anxiety: Nahum 1:7–9, captured in the words, “this will not happen a second time.” If you’re searching for prayer for cancer, hope for family health patterns, faith healing testimony, or a way to pray against generational cycles, this conversation gives you language and courage to believe for something different. A Medical Treatment Without Pain Through Faith

A treatment that “should have been unbelievably painful” turns into something Linda Budd can hardly explain: no pain at all. Linda shares a raw, specific Christian testimony that starts with dread and ends with awe, as she describes walking back into the clinic for the very same treatment and discovering that what she expected to endure simply does not happen. We talk through the moment that changes everything for her: Linda says Jesus told her He had taken the pain. That belief reshapes her mindset when she returns, and the story becomes even more striking when it repeats. She not only experiences zero pain, but her husband witnesses it firsthand and is left speechless, marveling at what he sees. If you’re drawn to stories of faith, healing, prayer, and the mystery of how spiritual conviction meets real-life medical situations, this conversation will stay with you. Linda also highlights the practical aftermath, sharing that she is not wiped out for the day and goes back to work, underscoring that the impact is more than a fleeting emotional high. Whether you listen as a believer looking for encouragement, someone curious about miracles, or someone carrying your own fear of pain and suffering, you’ll hear a clear theme: trust can change how we walk into the hardest moments, and gratitude can change how we walk out.
