Monster Hour

A narrative- and character-driven actual play podcast that is focused on collaborative storytelling, rather than just wacky improv hijinks. It is often funny but not at the expense of the story, and I love that. Quinn's descriptive writing to set up the scenes is gorgeous and the players are fun and interesting (except when Hannah whines, which is often enough to be noticeable but not often enough to spoil the fun). Also if you're interested in learning to be MOTW Keeper, the first seasons of the podcast are really perfect. Quinn is an amazing Keeper and he often names the moves he's using.

This is such an amazing podcast that deserves so much love- easily the best role playing podcast I have ever listened to. I would wish for quicker uploads, but what is there is absolutely amazing!!! Good luck in the new campaign! PS Some minor rules examination could be handy with Change The Game.

I can't recommend Monster Hour enough! This podcast is an absolute blast from start to finish. A huge shoutout to the Game Master, Quinn, who does an amazing job explaining the Monster Hunter tabletop game mechanics in a way that’s accessible even for newcomers. Quin’s storytelling is top-notch, and they have a real talent for keeping the game moving while ensuring everyone has a chance to shine. The pacing is perfect, and you never feel lost, even if you’re not familiar with the game. Overall, Monster Hour is a perfect mix of great storytelling, solid gameplay, and fun, dynamic characters. If you love tabletop RPGs or just enjoy a good story, this podcast is an absolute must-listen!
