I am Native American, from the Yakima, Tulalip, and Lumbee Tribes. I feel such a strong connection to these words as a direct descendant of its Authors. I have linked legends with scripture and I can't wait to share my Native American Perspective with you. Each chapter will have my own thoughts and opinions, and along the journey we will invite others to share what they have learned as well. You are sure to learn, grow, and feel inspired, as we search, study and ponder these sacred scriptures together.

We will find out how he get's the plates and we will meet a new Character named Zoram.     Have you ever doubted the Lord and his plan for you, and then, something happens in your life to completely prove you wrong. You are of course reminded that the Lord knows BEST, and will ALWAYS lead you in the right direction. That is exactly the same type of situation we read about with Sariah The Prophet Lehi's Wife today in chapter 5.  We will read about Nephi and his brothers joyful return to their family in the wilderness, we will see what possession Lehi values above all else… and we will hear a humble recommitment from Sariah as her Faith is strengthened. I hope your heart is open to the promptings you will receive from the spirit as we read this Special Chapter of the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ.

    Today we will see an extraordinary example of the power the Spirit has to convey the perfect message. We will witness a miracle performed by God, as an answer to Nephi's prayer, and we will also discuss the weight of a Woman's opinion. Sometimes a softer, more delicate approach is exactly what we need. I can't wait to see what the next step for Lehi and his family will be in this journey…lets begin.
