    Elijah | Heroes, Part 3

The Bible is full of people we remember for big moments, but their stories were far from simple. They faced fear, disappointment, doubt, pressure, and seasons of waiting. Each week, we’ll explore a different person from Scripture, looking at their struggles, their choices, and how God worked through their story. Along the way, we’ll see what their experiences can teach us about following God in our own lives. Sometimes we think peace will come once we get through the hard thing, reach the goal, or finally get an answer. But what happens when you get to the other side and the worry is still there? This week, we’ll look at what anxiety can take from us, what might be underneath it, and how we can begin to respond when we can’t seem to quiet our minds. 📌 NEXT STEPS: Wherever you are, we want to help you discover what’s next. 👉 https://www.npaustin.com/whatsnext Not sure where to start? Nehemiah | Heroes, Part 2

Sometimes the things that matter most get hardest somewhere in the middle. The excitement wears off, the finish line still feels far away, and quitting starts to sound reasonable. Through the story of Nehemiah, we’ll look at what to do when you’re tired, frustrated, or questioning whether the work is still worth it. 📌 NEXT STEPS: Wherever you are, we want to help you discover what’s next. 👉 https://www.npaustin.com/whatsnext Not sure where to start? Jonah | Heroes, Part 1

Most of us like the idea of grace until it’s given to someone we don’t think deserves it. Jonah knew God was compassionate and forgiving, but that became a problem when God showed that same compassion to his enemies. His story forces us to look at our own hearts and ask what happens when God’s idea of grace doesn’t feel fair to us. 📌 NEXT STEPS: Wherever you are, we want to help you discover what’s next. 👉 https://www.npaustin.com/whatsnext Not sure where to start? Lost in Translation | Your Response(Ability), Part 4

We all know what it's like to say, "That's not what I meant," only to hear, "Well, that's what I heard." The truth is, every conversation is filtered through our experiences, assumptions, and past hurts, which means we don't always hear what's actually being said. This week, we'll look at how becoming a better listener can change our relationships and the way we respond to the people around us. Every day, we respond to people, to pressure, opinions, criticism, and even the voice in our own head. But our responses are rarely as small as they seem. They shape relationships, reveal what’s happening beneath the surface, and create a ripple effect throughout our lives. Your Response(ability) is an invitation to slow down, pay attention, and consider what our words and reactions are really doing. 📌 NEXT STEPS: Wherever you are, we want to help you discover what’s next. 👉 https://www.npaustin.com/whatsnext Not sure where to start?
