The Gifts of the Spirit: A Biblical Theology Series Session 6 | The Garden Fellowship

Send us Fan Mail In Session 6 of The Gifts of the Spirit: A Biblical Theology Series, we continue exploring the work of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual gifts within the life of the Church. The gifts of the Spirit are not given for personal status, spiritual competition, or self-promotion. They are manifestations of God’s grace given for the common good, the edification of the Body of Christ, and the advancement of God’s mission in the world. Throughout this series, we are seeking to approach the gifts biblically and theologically, rooting charismatic practice in Scripture while remaining open to the present activity and power of the Holy Spirit. Our desire at The Garden Fellowship is to become a people who are grounded in Scripture, formed by the Spirit, matured in love, and equipped to faithfully participate in the ministry of Jesus. “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7 As we study the gifts, our goal is not simply to know what the gifts are, but to understand why God gives them, how they function within the Body, and how they ultimately point us toward Christ and the maturity of His people. Brought Near by the Blood | From the Nations to the Family of God (A Divine Council Worldview)

Send us Fan Mail Brought Near by the Blood | From the Nations to the Family of God (Ephesians 2 & the Divine Council Worldview) What does it really mean that we were once “far off” and have now been brought near by the blood of Christ? In this teaching from The Garden Fellowship, we explore Ephesians 2 through the lens of the Divine Council worldview, tracing the story from the scattering of the nations at Babel to the restoration of the family of God through the cross of Jesus. This message reveals that salvation is not only about personal forgiveness, it is also about cosmic reconciliation, restored inheritance, and reclaimed territory. You’ll discover: • Why the nations were disinherited after Babel (Deut. 32:8–9) • How corrupt spiritual powers ruled the nations (Psalm 82) • How the blood of Jesus breaks spiritual boundaries and hostile authority • What it means to be transferred into Christ’s Kingdom (Col. 1:13) • Why the Church is now God’s dwelling place on the earth (Eph. 2:19–22) This is the gospel as homecoming from strangers to sons, from exile to inheritance, from scattered nations to one family in Christ.
