Wk 7 Rams Friday Injury Report: Who Has to Step Up for LA?!

In this episode of Bleav in Rams presented by Fanduel - Erin Coscarelli gives you the latest injury news from Rams HQ - including how Puka Nacua popped up with a calf injury. The Rams head to Las Vegas as 3.5-point favorites against a 3-3 Raiders team that’s lost three straight. But at 2-4, LA is dealing with a growing list of injuries that could make this matchup a lot more complicated. Nose tackle Poona Ford is out for the season with a ruptured triceps, and defensive end Kobie Turner has been placed on injured reserve. With both players sidelined, the Rams need their depth to step up and find ways to generate pressure and control the line of scrimmage. The team signed outside linebacker Darryl Peterson III to the active roster and added nose tackle Jalen Hunt to the practice squad. The linebacker situation is another major question mark. Nate Landman, the Rams’ leading tackler with 51 total tackles and two forced fumbles, is in concussion protocol. Omar Speights, Shaun Dolac and Grant Stuard could see expanded roles, while Eric Kendricks is expected to be elevated from the practice squad. Puka Nacua's status remains a key storyline, especially with Davante Adams expected to miss 6–10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring. If Puka can’t play, or is limited, the Rams will need their remaining receivers to pick up the slack. Here’s the bigger picture: the Rams’ 2-4 start may need some context. Through six games, they’ve faced the NFL’s fourth-toughest schedule. But with key contributors missing on both sides of the ball, the question now is whether their depth can keep them competitive. Who needs to step up most, and can the Rams get it done on the road against a Raiders team desperate to stop its losing streak? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
