Great topic with entertaining stories. Fun to hear the opinions of professionals from the dental field. I can relate with a lot of what was talked about as a dentist that graduated (in state) with 400k in student debt. My first job I worked 60+ hour weeks often including nights and weekends.... a far cry from the 4 day a week cushy job I had expected before getting into dental school. Was it worth it? If you really like dentistry and are willing to work somewhere other people are not until your loans are paid back then sure. Otherwise, become a computer whiz.

The discussion is candid and entertaining. With the overall depressing theme of how expensive school is. From my experience of two years out of school and barely scratching the principal of my student loans. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t choose dentistry.
