Understanding what happens during the mortgage process will make things significantly less stressful! Having a lender who is GOOD at these things is even more critical!  You can have the best interest-rate in the world but if you have a terrible Loan Officer and they have a terrible operations staff behind them, the entire process could go down the drain! Closing could be delayed, you could be declined because of missed information, debt to income ratios are calculated incorrectly, TONS of things can go wrong if you’re not working with a professional!!!
