If you watched Apodaca's interrogation where all the texts from that night are read, he waffles the whole time and spends just as much if not more time concocting scenarios for her to back out of it than encouraging her. Then watch Kiara being interrogated; she admits she doesn't even believe the "Ghost" organization is real and she's obviously been gaslighting him about believing he's a thug because she laughs when she says oh yeah, he claims he used to be in a gang with Roswell in the name. She thinks that's hilarious. So how come she's so dubious down at the police station but we're supposed to believe only hours before she was being fully coerced by Apodaca's silly dark web fiction that she killed a girl about it. Nope. The fact is she was absolutely OBSESSED with Grace. It's all she talked about to anyone that would listen. It was her whole personality. And the basis of her relationship with Isaac who she stole from Grace, presumably to hurt her or to create more entanglement with Grace. Isaac had no beef with Grace. But Kiara would leverage homelessness over him; she self-reported that she would "make him homeless" when he didn't go along with her demands and presumably her delusions. She told the cops that in her interrogation! You had one thing right: Kiara was mentally ill! But the disorder she has is NARCISSISM not the fake multiple personality disorder she used to manipulate Isaac and laughably attempted to use during the interrogation. You could see she knew it wasn't working on the cop, she'd drop role playing when she couldn't stop herself from admitting where she really had control, even admitting repeatedly that she wanted Grace dead. Please just at least make an effort to review the facts before rambling off your own convictions of people.

CJ does an amazing job of showing you both crimes against and crimes committed by the LGBTQ community. She does famous cases and lesser known ones, cases in the US and international cases. She is respectful to the victims and takes the extra steps to get her facts right...and she never, ever...celebrates the perpetrator. What a great true crime listen.
