    The Punk Rock, Do It Yourself Mentality with Phillip Walsh

    Phillip Walsh is a British born singer-songwriter now living in Houston. He has a background in the UK punk rock scene that really inspired and informed his “get it done,” “do it yourself” mentality as an independent songwriter. In this interview, Phillip talks about his upbringing and musical journey in England. He talks about his shift from being a drummer to a lead singer and how eventually picking up the guitar really brought it all full circle so that he didn’t have to rely on anyone else to make music.     Keep Life Funky with Donovan Keith

    Donovan Keith is a soul/funk singer from Austin, Texas. His music is infectious and his live shows are energetic and lively. In this episode we talk about his musical journey and his songwriting process. We discuss topics like, having someone believe in you and being disciplined as a writer. He is a new friend of mine, within the last year, and I have really enjoyed getting to know and work on music with him. He is an amazing multi-instrumentalist that writes great honest, real songs.     Running Your Race with Hip Hop Artist T Seals

    Troy Seals (aka T Seals) is an up and coming hip hop artist. Troy is a beast of a writer and works harder than most artists I know of. He has over twenty songs fully finished and is planning on releasing all this fire in a stream of urban goodness in order to gain traction in the market. In this interview we hear his story and catch a glimpse into his songwriting process and what inspires him.
