    Android 10:
    Canadian Carrier Rogers has slipped up the dates for the stable
    Android 10 version. Google’s original Pixel, the Pixel 2 series, and
    2019’s Pixel 3 will get the OS upgrade on September 3. But that’s just

    Twitter CEO:
    Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account was hacked by a group called
    ‘Chuckle Squad.’ It is the same group that had hacked a number of
    YouTube celebrities on Twitter, including Shane Dawson, and
    James Charles.

    Google:
    Google has uncovered 14 security flaws in iPhones. Its researchers
    found that iPhones with iOS 10 to iOS 12 were affected by a small
    collection of malicious websites that could be used to hack the
    devices. The malware could also hack Wi-Fi passwords, login
    credentials, certificates, etc.

    Stranger Things 3 - The Game:
    The official game of Stranger Things Season 3 has been launched.
    It is available for Android and iOS users. The game, that lets you
    explore the Season 3 plot, is a paid item. Android users will have to
    pay ₹420 while iOS users have to pay ₹399.

    Flipkart:
    Starting in 2021, Flipkart will stop utilizing the Single-use Plastic in
    its packaging. It has already achieved a 25% reduction in single-use
    plastic. Instead, it will use eco-friendly paper shreds, recycled
    paper bags, and replacing bubble wraps and airbags.

    OnePlus TV:
    OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus
    TV will get three years of software upgrades. The TV will be based
    on Android and the Chinese firm is quick to dispense updates to its

    OnePlus 7T:
    It is rumored that the upcoming OnePlus 7t will be powered by the
    newly launched Snapdragon 855 Plus along with a 3,800
    milliamperes battery. This time, OnePlus will go for a circular
    camera setup, that will house the triple cameras. The OnePlus 7T
    Pro might also come with Snapdragon 855 Plus. The battery
    capacity could be 4,080 milliamperes. The new chipset increases the
    performance of the CPU and GPU by 15%.

    JioFiber:
    Reliance will launch JioFiber on September 5th. People in select
    cities can pay a security deposit of Rs 2,500. Plans start from Rs 700
    to Rs 10,000 per month. Also, Jio will offer JioFiber services for free
    for two months to customers who have subscribed to the JioFiber
    preview offer. If you opt for annual Jio Forever plans, you might get
    a free HD or 4K TV alongside a 4K set-top-box.

    XIAOMI REDMI:

    Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a few products in China. The Redmi Note 8 has a 6.3 inches Full HD+ LCD screen. It runs on an 11-nanometer Snapdragon 665 chipset with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options. You get a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.



    The Redmi Note 8 Pro, which has a 6.5 inches Full HD+ LCD display, is powered by Mediatek’s Helio G90T. It comes in 6GB/8GB RAM options with 64/128GB storage options. The 4500 mAh battery can be quickly charged with the 18W fast charger.



    Both sport a quad-camera setup. The regular Note 8 has a 48MP main sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide +  2MP depth + 2MP macro sensors. The selfie shooter is a 13MP sensor. The Pro version is the world’s first camera with to sport a 64MP lens and gets the same three cameras from its smaller sibling. The front camera is a 20MP sensor with some AI features.



    The Redmi Notes 8 starts at  ₹10,000, while the Redmi Note 8 Pro starts at  ₹14,000.



    Redmi has also announced a TV, which has a 70 inches 4K HDR screen with ultra-thin bezels. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It starts at  ₹38,000.



    The RedmiBook 14 is the company’s 14-inch laptop with either an i5 or i7 processor. Users can choose from 256gb or 512GB SSD. All models with come with 8GB RAM, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.

    APPLE:

    Apple will soon open its own online store as India has eased an investment rule wherein companies had to source 30% of its products locally. Apple has been assembling older devices at a factory in Bangalore while iPhone X is being tested at a Chennai factory.

    HUAWEI:

    A piece of bad news for Huawei fans - the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro won’t be launched with a licensed version of Android or Google apps and services. If you recall, Huawei faced a ban from the US and some services. Huawei has a backup plan though. If not Google, it will be released with its own HarmonyOS, which is an open-source platform that will support Google apps. The Huawei P30 Pro recently won the best smartphone award at an event in Shanghai, so there’s no slowing it down.
