    When will ALL Black Men Protect Black Women?

    Black women are ready to ride when it comes to Black men, but why aren't the feelings often reciprocated? Honestly, I don't feel as though I'm always protected by Black men and I know other Black women feel the same. We are criticized more than we are uplifted. We already have to deal with the inequality we experience in the world, so why are we unable to turn to the ones who are supposed to provide protection when there's nowhere else to turn; the ones who look like us. I created this podcast to address some of MY thoughts regarding Black men degrading Black women.

    A Mother’s Day Homage

    HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL THE GRACIOUS MOTHERS WHO CONTINUOUSLY GO OUT THEIR WAY TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR CHILDREN!!! Even though I lost my mother at 2 years old (and yes it does get hard!), I want to acknowledge the women who have been been here for me and have positively impacted my life. If you lost your mom, I completely understand why this might not be a celebratory day for you. This podcast is also for you. Hopefully my words can enlighten you and encourage you to not continue to be in sorrow on this day.

    Being Present for others

    It’s okay not to be okay. However, it’s not okay to tell someone how you think they should feel when they are feeling emotionally distressed. It doesn’t matter how minute you feel their situation is, especially in comparison to others, it may just take you being there to listen to turn it around. Let’s learn to be present and listen to our loved ones

    Black Girl You Are Worthy

    Black women have been degraded and disregarded for so long and are finally being heard! I just wonder why it becomes such an issue when we defend ourselves when others throw darts and no one else is there willing to defend us. Keep speaking up black girl and show the world you are a force to be reckoned with!
