God is With You: Bible verses for those in chronic pain

If you’re suffering or living with chronic pain, these bible verses and quotes are for you. God wants you to find hope in Him, even in the midst of pain and suffering. You can download graphics for each of the Bible verses from today's episode here. If you're suffering and don't have someone to talk to, I'd love to hear your story and pray with you. You can reach me here. Here's the questions to help you study these Bible verses on chronic pain and suffering: Who’s speaking or being spoken to? What does God say He’ll do? (when I say God, I’m referring to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) What promises are found? How should these promises impact your current pain or suffering? Is there anything you need to do differently? If so, what? Take a minute and ask the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to live out whatever truth you’ve found.

Trusting God: My life with chronic pain & illnesses

Did you know that almost 40% of women are suffering with at least one chronic illness and 70% of chronic pain suffers are women? Yup! I happen to suffer with both and after two weeks of prayer, God's told me it was time to open up about my struggles. As you listen, know that God is with you and He will give you the strength you need. We can trust God through chronic illness. We can trust God with chronic pain. And the best part is... the things we're suffering with can be used to bring God glory and reflect His goodness to the world around us. If you'd like to talk, want to share your struggles, or want to share what God's taught you about trusting Him with chronic illness, pain, or anything you're suffering with...you can email me HERE. You can get the Psalms of lament list HERE and you can find the text from this podcast HERE. My friend...I'm praying for you and trusting that God will use this episode to deepen your trust and fill you with hope. God's got you firmly in His grip and He'll lead and guide you, even in the midst of suffering and pain.

Do You Know Who You Are? An interview with Sherly Math-Osagie

Are you struggling with who you are? Feeling worthless and like no one would notice if you weren't here? Struggling to feel good enough or like you have a purpose? You are not alone, and this interview with Sherly is for you.  To one degree or another we've all struggled with who we are and as women of God, it's important we learn who God says we are. Today Sherly will share how she overcame Satan's lies about her worth and found her true identity in Christ. I was so blessed talking with her and can't wait to hear how God uses her struggles to bring you victory. Just like the old hymn..."Oh victory in Jesus, my Savior forever. He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood." You can find Sherly at https://bstarministries.blog/blog-1  If you have any questions, concerns, comments, or suggestions you can reach us here.

The Tabernacle & Temple of God: Their purpose & you

Have you noticed how frequently the tabernacle and temple of God are mentioned in Scripture? You find references to them from all throughout Scripture. Bought at a Price is based on 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 which says: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."  Notice what it says about us? It says that if you're a Christian, your body is the temple of God. Wow! So...today's episode is a high-level overview of the tabernacle and temple of God. We're starting in Genesis and fast-forwarding all the way through to Revelation. I pray this information piques your interest and brings you back. Over the next several weeks we'll dive deeper into the tabernacle and temple of God and how they relate to us.  If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions you can reach Bought at a Price here.  Bought at a Price is an eclectic mix of Bible study and lifestyle episodes because our mission is to take you on a redemptive journey towards understanding the way God views your body, lifestyle, and role in His kingdom.
