The Horsemanship Podcast

I just found this podcast this morning & it was exactly what I needed. My horse & I attended our first clinic & although we had our good points, there was frustration in other sections. It made me feel that I should just give up riding. But today is a new day & this podcast was inspirational! Thank you!

Very good, relatable information. You have a lovely voice and I love how you explain things. I wish the episodes were longer than 20 minutes but I really recommend

The episodes are always educational, holistic and personal. I enjoy that the main goal is to help you out in some way or give you food for thought.

Recently, my trainer bought a kill pen pony. She’s a full welsh and was used as an amish cart horse. We’re almost certain that she was abused and is super skittish. I bought her off of my trainer and started to teach her things. She’s terrible at catching (terrified of halters) Today I was going to halter her in the pasture for the first time and call it done. I had to change my goal for my horses benefit because she wasn’t feeling it today. And-after ground working her in a 5 acre arena free handed 😂- she came up/joined up with me and let me pet her! If it wasn’t for this podcast, I would have tried to halter her and probably ruin this good experience!
