    Porch Monkey?

    One of the most vivid memories I have as a child is the racism I experienced being a child of color growing up in predominately white environment. I had all kinds of racial slurs hurled at me and had absolutely no idea what they meant. This blissful ignorance I had I credit to my parents who were in no way racist. How did I become who I am and have the outlook I have at life today?

I have FINALLY decided to take on the challenge because, hey, why not?  I live in world that has just about everything I need to be happy. The secret to this is, I have CHOSEN to be HAPPY.  My Grandfather said something to me when I was a little girl that has stuck with me my entire life, "If you can not have what you want, WANT what you have".  THIS amazing saying I have repeated over and over and today I am living a life that I have intentionally planned for myself and the people who love me! This Podcast explains how I do that through, setbacks, heartaches and disappointment. Here you will learn a little about dealing with some of the darkest things in life that some people sadly could not overcome. AND you will learn a little bit about WINE!!!!!
