    13. SHOES DROPPIN' with Jessie Wagner (Singer, Songwriter, and Multi-Talented Artist)

Jessie Wagner is a singer, songwriter, and multi-talented artist who has toured the world with Lenny Kravitz, Chic, Kid Rock, Stevie Van Zandt, and Duran Duran. Her debut solo album Shoes Droppin' reveals a very personal collection of songs and is out now on Wicked Cool Records.

Jessie is also the lead singer of Army of the Underdog (formerly known as Envy), which is a five-piece rock and soul band from New York City. Led by Jessie's aggressive and soulful vocals, AOU blasts a sexy, original rock and roll sound. With hard hitting beats, writhing guitar riffs, and savagely intoxicating bass lines, AOU created a hybrid of hard rock and sultry soul that is ass kicking, exciting, and a breath of fresh air in today’s humdrum music industry.

AOU recordings include the Envy EP, Handle It and Army of the Underdog (released under the name Jessie Wagner and Envy). AOU is currently working on a new EP and it should be ready for listeners in 2022.

Insightful, interesting podcast

Justin is approachable. He asks meaningful questions that elicit unguarded answers. Sharing his own thoughts and feelings, Justin makes the podcast feels more like a conversation between friends than a formal interview.

Great podcast!

This is a great listen! It has a fun and casual feeling to it but still offers an interesting, in-depth look into the creative process, as well as getting to know the person being interviewed. Definitely recommended!
