Adulting with ADHD: obvious epiphany/learning to thrive.

Hey guys, welcome back to the pod. I know I’m a little late getting this episode out, but I have a bunch of stuff to do over the weekend and into the week so better late than never wouldn’t say? This week I’m talking about how I’m actually realizing that I need to tune into my ADHD and learn more about it. I kind of have been going through life just accepting my fate with it and not really understanding it or realizing that I can make this work for me, for some reason, I never had the idea to research it to delve more into understanding it and why I do the things that I do. this all actually stems from finding Midwest magic cleaning where the creator is autistic and his wife has ADHD and how neurodivergence can really inhibit daily tasks ,Especially things like cleaning up around the house . The channel has become sort of a comfort safe Haven watching their videos, and take a little bit more of an inward look at how I’ve been living my life up until this point and where my future is headed. I mean that in a positive way I think ADHD is a superpower and I’m actually grateful to have it. If this resonates with you, whether you’re on the autistic spectrum or whatever you’re neural, divergency, happens to lie share this with other people who may benefit I intend to be focusing more on neurodivergent adult, and anything you could do to help me get the word out would be great Subscribe, if you found this with someone you love to follow me on Instagram @ curiosityPrysm_ podcast and at TikTok @curiosityPrysm As always, I love you so much thanks for listening.

Hey there! In this episode of CuriosityPrysm, I’m talking about a situation we’ve probably all faced at some point—the feeling of being dismissed or just not heard. When someone doesn’t meet our expectations, especially around something as basic as communication, it can be really tough to handle without feeling hurt or frustrated. Today, I’m opening up about a recent experience and what it taught me about setting boundaries, keeping our peace, and holding onto respect—both for ourselves and others. We’ll chat about why respectful communication matters, how to stay grounded when others don’t show up the way we need, and how to turn these challenging moments into real growth. Let’s dive into how we can handle disappointments while keeping our self-respect intact. What’s in This Episode: • How open communication builds trust and respect in any relationship. • Ways to deal with disappointment when people don’t respond as expected. • Why boundaries are key for protecting our own peace. • Turning feelings of disrespect into a chance for personal growth. A Question to Reflect On: Think of a time you felt let down by someone’s response (or lack of it). How did you handle it? And what might you do differently now? Episode Quotes: • “In times of disappointment, respecting ourselves and setting boundaries can be our best form of self-care.” • “We can’t control what others do, but we can control how we respond.” How You Can Support the Show: • Subscribe to CuriosityPrysm so you don’t miss out on new episodes! • Share this episode with someone who might need a little encouragement to set those boundaries. • Follow me on CuriosityPrysmPodcast on IG and CuriosityPrysm on TikTok for more real-life insights and inspiration. until next time, keep discovering the light within
