    Love is unconditional but relationships are not

    Some of us stay in relationships that are not good for us because we love someone. Our boundaries are too porous. Others of us “are” in relationships but never let our guard down and let the love our partner is offering to flow into us. My take is that while relationships should have love in them, they are not primarily about love. They are about attachment. I talk about this topic and briefly discuss how it interacts with the topic of narcissism and codependency. I also reiterate the importance of knowing your frame of reference when deciding what advice to take in your relationships.
