    Vintage - MovieButts #59 The BEST & WORST of Alex Cox (in the 80s) - Repo Man (1984) & Walker (1987)

    This man made a beautiful movie and HollyWood destroyed his career for it. Learn your lesson early kids: trash sells, stay in line. Repo Man and Walker. Two very punk movies, one far more obvious than the other. Walker deserves a following. Please watch it (if you can find it). A young punk recruited by a car repossession agency finds himself in pursuit of a Chevrolet Malibu that is wanted for a $20,000 bounty - and has something otherworldly stashed in its trunk. An unconventional retelling of the life of William Walker, a 19th century American mercenary leader who became the president of Nicaragua.     Vintage - MovieButts #56 The BEST & WORST of Joss Whedon - The Avengers (2012) & Serenity (2005)

    Freshly cancelled cult hero and feminist icon Joss Whedon has directed few movies, we watched his best and worst: Avengers (2012) and Serenity (2005) respectively. Perfectly timed quips are a-plenty in these highly entertaining, textbook action/adventure films. It's just a shame that just off-camera, he was screaming at everyone for being pregnant. RIP Joss. Guess you were always just one of the boys.
