From Frustration To Focus: Living Your Divine Design

This powerful teaching invites us to examine the systems and atmospheres we've created in our lives and asks a critical question: Are they conducive to our divine design? Drawing from Ephesians 2:10, we're reminded that we are God's masterpiece, His handiwork, created with intentionality and purpose. The message challenges us to move from frustration to focus by understanding that we're not accidents or afterthoughts—God planned us with His fullest creative abilities. Through the stories of Elijah at the brook Cherith and his transition to Zarephath, we see that different seasons require different systems. What worked at the brook won't sustain us in Zarephath. The dried-up brook isn't a sign of failure; it's an invitation to our next phase. Similarly, when Peter, James, John, and Andrew left their fishing nets to follow Jesus, they didn't just change careers—they shifted their entire system of living to align with their assignment. This teaching urges us to examine our daily routines, our environments, and our habits. Are they supporting where God is taking us, or are they keeping us stuck in a previous season? The small shifts we make today—waking up earlier, creating space for prayer, reorganizing our physical environment—can bring the acceleration we've been praying for. We're called to walk by faith, not leap by faith, taking consistent daily steps that align with the path God has prepared for us long ago.

Trusting God's Direction: The Power Of Acknowledging Him in All Your Ways

In today's message, Pastor Kerrick emphasizes the importance of trusting God wholeheartedly and acknowledging Him in every area of life to receive His divine direction. Pastor teaches that living by the Spirit requires more than just knowing God's acts—we must understand His ways. The message focuses on Proverbs 3:5-10, encouraging believers to honor God with their time, talents, and treasure (tithes and offerings). In this message, you'll be challenged to renew your mind through God's Word, pray in the Holy Spirit, and obey quickly when God speaks. By acknowledging God first and letting Jesus into every area of life, believers position themselves for supernatural harvest, breakthrough, increase, and great celebration of God's goodness. Journal Questions: The teaching emphasizes that harvest appears in multiple areas because we sow in multiple ways through study, research, working, and relationships. What harvests might you be missing because you're only looking for results in one specific area? The message warns against making excuses that become new strongholds and mentalities. What excuses have you been making that might actually be limiting what God wants to do in your life? The sermon states that 'your life has risen to the level of your thoughts and your words.' How might the way you speak about yourself, your situation, or your future be shaping the reality you're experiencing? The sermon discusses how we often give God 'leftovers' of our time, talent, and treasure rather than 'first pick.' In what specific areas of your life might you be giving God what's left instead of what's first? Peter only threw out one net when Jesus told him to throw out multiple nets, resulting in partial obedience and partial harvest. What areas of partial obedience in your life might be limiting the harvest God wants to give you?
