Tony James has an awesome responsibility in my world: he is this Yank’s biggest window to the U.K., a country whose customs, history, music, and people have been my passion since I first discovered Bowie in my early teens. As of this review, politics in the U.S. has a majority of Americans in a woeful mental space, and I’ve found that one of my most refreshing respites is having Tony’s take on life keeping my myopia in check. He’s funny, earthy (skin tags and all), and kind. It’s nice having genuine bloke across the pond who I feel is as good a friend one can have in this cold, impersonal, snarky, insincere world of social media.
