    Entrepreneurship: Melissa Kargiannakis & Skritswap

When we talk about entrepreneurship or startups, we immediately think of Silicon Valley, at least, to some extent. But what if you are a small girl living in Northern Ontario, with no experience or family background in business… And you dared to dream? From working as a server to teaching singing. Driving 8 hours just to attend business meetings… You did not quit your day job because you had a family to support. Silicon Valley was waiting for you... But you did not have the money to fly. And you used your Air Miles to make it work... It all started with an idea- how to make information easy to understand? In this episode of MPOWR, I talked to Melissa Kargiannakis, founder of Skritswap. Listen to this amazing entrepreneur who dared to dream and execute her idea!

    Entrepreneurship: One Way Ticket!

Are skills and education important to launch a successful startup? Do you have to be a programmer to start a technology startup? In this episode of OmniDigit MPOWR, we talk to a very special guest who had absolutely no experience in AR (Augment Reality). And yet, that did not stop the dreamer to come to the US with a one-way ticket, and make his mark with his startup, Scanta. Scanta aims to disrupt the way people live, learn and communicate by joining augmented reality with machine learning technology.   Chaitanya Hiremath, aka Chad, is the first Indian origin entrepreneur to ever win the Shark Tank Showcase and the prestigious Draper summer pitch, 2018 in San Francisco.
