The Price of Football

I reviewed the podcast, years ago, and lauded it for real insight ( based on efl club doings and ,globally!) not found elsewhere. Unique. It remains so. So, why review again? Well, kieran’s partner lamented in the most recent episode, that neville sold an interest in his podcast for a huge sum … all the while their own podcast cannot bring a sum anywhere near such. Question for Price of Football hosts: what do you estimate is the subscriber and/ or listener loss by the incessant US politicol commentary? Alienating half the US audience ( read: our elections are close and closer than they should be owing to Democrat’s verified election fraud) with this steady vitrol diet ? Do listeners tap on your podcast for your US pol views? The risk/ reward is assymetric. It undermines commercial potential. Dies Neville’s go off on US pol diatribe? Anyway, one can build audience with a football inly aporoach or keep going as currently rendered. If the latter, just look in the mirror for answers re: cimmercial success.

I’m an American and I find the pod informative and entertaining even though I don’t understand most of the cultural references, but I don’t have to because the insight into the business of sport and especially football is excellent and needs no translation.
