Unveiling the Beast

Kaitie Entrikin

Hey guys! I'm Kaitie, and I am on a mission to help humans become the BEST versions of themselves, and to unveil what I like to call the Beautiful Beast that already lives inside us all. I have had the privilege to talk to all kinds of different humans who have been through a plethora (I love big words); a myriad of experiences, just being a human and existing. We talk about parenthood, business, life goals, health, fertility, fear... All the beautiful and the ugly. My hope is that you leave each episode with at least ONE nugget of wisdom or a tool you can apply to your own life.

206 Told to Act Her Age. Declined.

What's up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, my friend Melani is back, and dude, she's been BUSY! Between turning 50, navigating menopause, exploring hormone therapy and peptides, and launching a new wellness business, she's got a LOT to catch us up on. We talk about her experiences with everything from hair loss and skin changes to GLP-1 medications, and how those experiences inspired her to take her career in a new direction. I also share more about my own GLP-1 adventure, why weight loss was never my primary motivation, and why I'm far more interested in what we're learning about their potential effects beyond the scale. Of course, we get into strength training, nutrition, body image, and the importance of taking care of the whole human, not just what we see in the mirror. And somewhere along the way, we end up talking about accepting compliments, building businesses, and what it really means to evolve instead of repeat. A LITTLE HEADS-UP: This episode includes conversations about aesthetics, body image, weight loss, menopause, hormone therapy, GLP-1 medications, and experimental peptides. We share our personal experiences and opinions, and some of the treatments discussed have limited research or are not FDA-approved for the uses mentioned. Our conversation is for education and discussion, not medical advice or an endorsement of any particular treatment. Please talk with a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about medications or peptide therapies. As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About Melani Melani Le'ona, aka The Results Queen, is the founder of Evolv Health Solutions, a physician-guided peptide therapy practice helping women and men optimize hormones, peptides, and GLP-1s, and The Life Architect, where she advises high-performing entrepreneurs and their partners and spouses on mind, body, business, and soul. Why the Results Queen? You name it. You want it. I help you get it. Life By Design, Baby! At 50, she's living proof you don't have to look or feel your age.  Told to act her age.  Declined. 205 Moms Always Eat Last

What’s up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I welcome back my good friend Alysia Lyons, the Guilt Coach, for a conversation about something I know WAY too well: putting myself last. Alysia recently introduced me to her new project, Moms Always Eat Last, and dude, I felt that in my soul. Between being a mom, wife, caregiver, and business owner, I've gotten so used to taking care of everyone else that sometimes I forget I'm supposed to be on that list, too. We talk about the guilt that comes with prioritizing ourselves, the beliefs we've carried since childhood, and why self-care doesn't have to be another exhausting thing on our to-do lists. We also get into burnout, figuring out what actually gives us energy, and a few simple changes that can make a real difference. Including one ridiculously obvious suggestion about making my own dinner plate FIRST that somehow never occurred to me. Because sometimes it's not about doing more for ourselves. It's about realizing we deserve a place on our own damn list. As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About Alysia Alysia Lyons is a mom first, a life coach and author second. She helps overwhelmed moms ditch guilt, reclaim the joy of motherhood and find balance, without adding more to their to-do lists. She is the author of "Good Mom Rules: Ditch Mom Guilt and Find Your Happy" and "Creating Little Miracles", the host of the Moms Always Eat Last podcast and creator of Moms Always Eat Last Community where every mom has a space to be herself. Through her coaching, Alysia blends practical strategies with powerful spiritual tools, guiding women toward lasting peace and personal transformation. 204 I Was Ready to Quit. Then She Said This.

What’s up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I reconnect with my longtime friend Stella Sierra, who I met when she was one of my spin students yelling “Kaitie, I hate you!” from the back of the room. We talk about growing up too fast, people pleasing, boundaries, motherhood, understanding our behaviors, and our experiences with perimenopause and GLP-1 medications. But this conversation got unexpectedly emotional because that very morning, I had seriously considered walking away from everything I've been building. I'm overwhelmed, exhausted, stretched too thin, and constantly feeling like I'm doing so much but somehow still not doing enough. And then here comes Stella, someone I hadn't seen in years, telling me how much of an impact I'd had on her life. And dude, I needed that. Did it fix anything? Nope. I'm still trying to figure out how the hell to do all of this without running myself into the ground. But it reminded me why I started, and that even when I can't see the difference I'm making, it doesn't mean I'm not making one.  As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. 203 Why Do I Feel Like I’m Too Much AND Not Enough?

What’s up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I sit down with Lisa Barwise for a conversation about what happens when you’re doing all the things you’re “supposed” to do for your health and still wonder, “Why the hell do I feel like this?” Lisa shares her experience of repeatedly finding success, burning out, and eventually realizing she needed to look beyond workouts, nutrition, and another wellness qualification. We talk about nervous system regulation, ADHD, perimenopause, grief, the stories we pick up when we’re young, and that fun little dance between feeling like we’re too much and somehow still not enough. We also get into the woo, science, midlife reinvention, and the idea that maybe midlife isn’t a crisis at all. Maybe it’s a reawakening. Because ultimately, we’re not a bunch of separate problems to fix. We’re whole-ass humans, and all those pieces matter.  As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About Lisa Lisa Barwise is a Wellness Alchemist, Fitness Feminist, author, and creator of the Warrior Goddess Saga, helping women see midlife as a reawakening rather than a crisis. For more than 15 years, she has worked at the intersection of women’s health, strength, psychology, and spirituality. Through her Wellness Alchemy approach, she explores the biology, psychology, and spirituality of women’s experiences, including what she calls Armour Weight™, the invisible weight of stress, shame, people pleasing, perfectionism, and trying to be everything to everyone. 202 Your Job Is a Relationship. Is It a Healthy One?

What's up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I sit down with April Morgan for a conversation about something we don’t always think of as a relationship: our jobs. We talk about what happens when work becomes part of our identity, why leaving a job can genuinely feel like a breakup, and how a change in leadership can completely change a place you once loved. April shares how losing her dad inspired her to look differently at the relationships we build at work, how grief and major life changes affected the way she showed up in her own career, and what happened when she finally realized a workplace she loved no longer fit who she was. We also get into entrepreneurship, taking scary-ass leaps without sacrificing the people who matter to us, giving ourselves grace when we are not our best selves, and why being human should probably be a bigger part of Human Resources. Oh, and we discover that April and I share a deep appreciation for the versatility of the word “f*ck,” so obviously this was meant to be. As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About April April Morgan is the Vice President of People Operations at IWC Innovations, co-founder of Elevate People Ops LLC, speaker, and author of Married to the Job: Work Isn't a Job...It's a Relationship. 201 What If Your Body Remembers What Your Mind Forgot?

What's up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Kris Belfry for a conversation about the connection between our emotions, our bodies, and the patterns we can carry without even realizing they are there. Kris shares how his work evolved from focusing primarily on the physical body to becoming curious about why some people seemed to get better while others kept struggling, and how that curiosity eventually led him deeper into stress, emotions, old experiences, and self-awareness. We talk about why familiar does not always mean healthy, how something uncomfortable can still feel “safe” simply because it is what we know, and how many of our reactions happen on autopilot before we ever stop to question them. We also get into emotional eating, relationships, parenting, stepping outside our comfort zones, and one of my favorite things ever: awareness creates choice. Sometimes the first step toward changing a pattern is simply stopping long enough to ask, “Why am I doing this?”  As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About Kris Dr. Kris Belfry has spent years trying to figure out why people stay stuck, even when they desperately want to change. As an embodiment coach and former chiropractor who's studied 20+ body-based healing techniques, he found the answer nobody was talking about: the pattern isn't in your head, it's in your body. Today he helps high-achieving men and women break the loops that keep showing up no matter what they try, same relationships, same ceiling, same self-sabotage by working at the root level where real change actually happens. This is one of those conversations that might just shift something in you.  Connect with Kris! 200 Who the Hell Am I Now?

What's up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I sit down with my friend David Cleveland for a conversation about what happens when the version of your life you built no longer fits the person you are becoming. We talk about identity, purpose, failure, forgiveness, getting older, changing direction, and why reaching the thing you thought you were supposed to want doesn’t always make you feel fulfilled. David shares what it was like raising four daughters as a single father, eventually becoming an empty nester, and realizing he had to figure out who he was outside of the roles and responsibilities that had defined him for decades. We also get into why “just change your mindset” is such oversimplified advice, why failure is not always failure, and how some of the hardest things we go through can completely change the way we see ourselves and other people. And because neither of us knows how to stay on one topic, we somehow end up talking about caregiving, relationships, forgiveness, mortality, and the fact that coaches are still whole-ass humans figuring their own shit out too.  As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About David Dave Cleveland is a craftsman, artist, father, grandfather, and lifelong student of what helps people truly flourish. After navigating the identity shifts of midlife, an empty nest, and career burnout, he returned to his original calling: helping others find clarity, purpose, and renewed direction. As the founder of LifeFullosophy, Dave is dedicated to helping people become the best version of themselves by cultivating the well-being of mind, body, and spirit. 199 She Was Functioning, But She Didn’t Feel Alive

What's up, you Beautiful Beasts! Welcome back to the show! In this episode, I sit down with Shelley Kitching for an honest conversation about depression, identity, authenticity, and what it means to find yourself after spending years trying to be who everyone else wanted you to be. Shelley shares what it was like to live with depression for decades, the moment she realized the way she was coping was no longer enough, and how reconnecting with her spiritual side became a missing piece in her healing. We talk about the exhaustion of worrying what everyone else thinks, the difference between being sad and slipping back into depression, how awareness gives us more choice, and why rest does not have to come with guilt. This episode is a reminder that healing does not mean you never struggle again. Sometimes it means noticing sooner, choosing differently, and slowly building a life that actually feels like yours.  As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh. About Shelley Shelley Kitching is a certified Soul Realignment® practitioner, Akashic guide, life coach, soul coach, international speaker, and mental health advocate.
