Pray that they would hear and embrace the truth of Jesus, that God would raise up compassionate workers and strong Lao believers to reach them, and that those who follow Christ would remain grounded in Scripture rather than blending Christianity with Buddhist and animistic beliefs. A Han Chinese–Qiang people with a distinct cultural identity, most Ming are nonreligious, though some retain animistic beliefs. Pray that God would remove spiritual blindness, awaken a hunger for Him, and open hearts to the gospel, providing opportunities for Christ to be made known despite opposition to Christian outreach. Pray for an unstoppable movement to Christ among the Ming. Known for their strong family ties, warrior traditions, and agricultural lifestyle, they face challenges including limited education, healthcare access, and difficult living conditions. They follow Sunni Islam, and few, if any, are known to follow Christ. Pray that God would send loving workers to share the gospel, that they would encounter Jesus through Scripture and media in their language, and that a disciple-making movement would begin. Although portions of Scripture are available, there are few ministry resources and little gospel access in their own language. Pray that the Sok would encounter the hope of Jesus Christ, that workers would faithfully bring the gospel in their heart language, and that a thriving community of disciples would take root among them.
