    Sermon | God's Powerful Plan

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 1God's Powerful PlanEzra 1, Isaiah 44:24-45:7 | King's Chapel Live Stream What happens when God sets a plan in motion? The opening chapter of Ezra reminds us that God's plans are far bigger than we can see, yet He graciously invites His people to be part of what He is doing. When God determined to bring His people back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple, He made a way for His purposes to be accomplished. In this message, we see three powerful truths about God's plan. God's plan includes anyone and everyone. His purposes reach beyond what we might expect, and He can accomplish His will through people and circumstances we never would have chosen. God stirs the heart. God moved the heart of King Cyrus, and He also stirred the hearts of His people to respond. What God calls us to do, He is able to move us toward through His Spirit. God provides the resources. From unexpected sources and through His own people, God provided precisely what was needed for the work ahead. As we begin our series through Ezra and Nehemiah, this passage reminds us that building God's way begins with trusting God's powerful plan. We may not know every detail of what He is doing, but we can trust the God who does. Sermon | Blessed are the Missional

The Blessed Life According to the Son | Part 6Blessed are the MissionalMatthew 4:17, 23-25, 5:1-16 | King's Chapel Live Stream What does it mean to live as a citizen of God's Kingdom? Jesus doesn't simply tell His followers to try harder or do more. He tells them who they already are. "You are the salt of the earth." "You are the light of the world." In this message from the Sermon on the Mount, we conclude our Beatitudes series by discovering that every follower of Christ has been called to live on mission. Because we belong to Jesus, we are sent into the world to preserve what is good, point people to the truth, and reflect the light of Christ wherever He has placed us. Our mission is not to draw attention to ourselves. Jesus tells us to let our light shine so that others may see our good works and give glory to our Father in heaven. At King's Chapel, we summarize this calling in two simple phrases: For the GLORY of our Great God.For the GOOD of our Neighbor. If you have ever wondered how to faithfully represent Christ in your home, workplace, neighborhood, or community, this message is an encouraging reminder that God has already made you salt and light through the Gospel. Now, go and live on mission for His glory. Sermon | Blessed are the Persecuted Peacemakers

The Blessed Life According to the Son | Part 5Blessed are the Persecuted PeacemakersMatthew 4:17, 23-25, 5:1-12 | King's Chapel Live Stream What does it mean to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven? Jesus says that peacemakers are blessed because they will be called sons of God. As members of God’s family, we are invited to share in His family business by seeking peace with God, peace with our neighbors, and peace within our communities. Peacemaking is not passive. It is a Gospel-shaped way of living that reflects the character of our heavenly Father. Jesus also tells His followers that those who are persecuted because of Him are blessed. Their reward is not found in comfort or approval from the world, but in the Kingdom of Heaven. Even when following Christ brings opposition, rejection, or hardship, Jesus calls His people to rejoice and be glad because their reward is great and they are in the company of faithful believers who have gone before them. In this message, we see that the blessed life is not always an easy life. It is a life rooted in Christ, marked by peacemaking, and strengthened by the hope of God’s Kingdom. If you are trying to follow Jesus faithfully in a divided world, this message will encourage you to pursue peace with courage and to trust that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Sermon | Blessed are the Merciful and Pure

The Blessed Life According to the Son | Part 4Blessed are the Merciful and PureMatthew 4:17, 23-25, 5:1-8 | King's Chapel Live Stream What does a life transformed by the Gospel actually look like? As Jesus continues the Beatitudes, He reminds us that the blessed life is not something we earn. It is the life that grows in those who have already been made citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven through Christ. Because we have received God's mercy, we become people who show mercy. Because Christ has given us a new heart, we begin to live with an undivided devotion to Him. In this message, we explore what it means to be merciful toward those who are hurting, broken, and in need. Just as the Good Samaritan showed compassion to a stranger, Christians are called to reflect the mercy of Jesus by restoring dignity, extending kindness, and pointing others to the hope found in Christ. We also consider what Jesus means when He says, "Blessed are the pure in heart." A pure heart is not a perfect heart. It is a heart that has been made new by God's grace and is wholly devoted to Him. Through Christ, God replaces our hearts of stone with hearts that desire Him above everything else. The Beatitudes are not a list of qualifications for entering God's Kingdom. They are the beautiful evidence of what God is doing in the lives of those He has already redeemed. If you long to become more like Christ and to reflect His mercy in a divided world, this message points us back to the transforming power of the Gospel. Sermon | Exchanging the Control We Crave for the Sovereign God We Trust

True Comfort Comes Only by Him | Part 2Exchanging the Control We Crave for the Sovereign God We TrustGenesis 50:15-21 | King's Chapel Live Stream Why is it so hard to let go of control? Even after our guilt has been dealt with, we often cling to the belief that peace comes from managing every outcome. We want to know how the story ends before we're willing to trust God with the next chapter. In Genesis 50, Joseph asks a simple but profound question: "Am I in the place of God?" Those words remind us that true comfort is not found in controlling our circumstances but in trusting the God who is sovereign over them. Through betrayal, false accusations, imprisonment, and years of waiting, Joseph learned that God's purposes are always greater than our plans. His life points us to Jesus, who willingly entered into suffering to accomplish our redemption and demonstrate the Father's perfect love. God's sovereignty is never separate from His goodness. The God who rules over every detail of history is the same God who gave His Son for us. If He can be trusted with our salvation, He can be trusted with every detail of our lives. Following Christ doesn't mean life will always make sense. It means we can live with confidence that the God who writes our story is perfectly wise, perfectly loving, and perfectly faithful. If you're struggling to surrender control, facing uncertainty, or wondering what God is doing in your life, this message is an invitation to find true rest in the God who is still writing your story. Sermon | Exchanging the Guilt that Drives Us for the Grace that Frees Us

True Comfort Comes Only by Him | Part 1Exchanging the Guilt That Drives Us for the Grace That Frees UsGenesis 50:15-21 | King's Chapel Live Stream What do you do when your past won't stop haunting you? Even after seventeen years of kindness from Joseph, his brothers still lived under the weight of guilt. When their father Jacob died, they feared Joseph would finally take revenge. Their circumstances had changed, but their guilty consciences had not. In this message from Genesis 50, we see how unresolved guilt gives birth to fear, and fear drives us into hiding. Like Joseph's brothers, we often know God's promises but struggle to believe His grace is really for us. The good news is that God does not expose our guilt to shame us. He exposes it so He can free us. Joseph cared for his brothers, but only Jesus, the greater Joseph, can remove our guilt completely. At the cross, Christ took our sin upon Himself and bore the judgment we deserved. Guilt tells us we will never be enough, but Jesus declares that His grace is sufficient. True comfort is not found in ignoring our guilt but in trusting the Savior who has already paid for it. If you are carrying shame, fear, or regret, this message points you to the only One who can quiet a guilty conscience and give lasting peace. The Blessed Life According to the Son, Pt. 3Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for RighteousnessMatthew 4:17, 23-25; 5:1-6 | King’s Chapel Live StreamEveryone is hungry for something. We spend our lives searching for fulfillment through success, relationships, comfort, possessions, or achievement. Yet no matter how much we consume, something still feels empty. Jesus tells us why.In the Sermon on the Mount, He declares:"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."In this message, we discover that every human heart longs for something greater because God has placed eternity within us. Yet because of sin, we often chase the wrong things, hoping they will satisfy what only Christ can fill.Jesus invites us to hunger and thirst for righteousness. That includes a righteous standing before God through Christ's finished work, a growing life of holiness as He transforms us, and a longing to see His righteousness reflected in His people and His Kingdom. The promise is remarkable. Sermon | Blessed are the Gentle

The Blessed Life According to the Son, Pt. 2Blessed are the GentleMatthew 4:17, 23-25; 5:1-5 | King’s Chapel Live StreamWhat does true strength look like?In a world that celebrates self-promotion, power, and getting your own way, Jesus gives a surprising answer:"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."Many people mistake meekness for weakness, but biblical meekness is something entirely different. It is strength under control. It is a heart that willingly submits to God's will, trusts God's Word, and rests in God's promises. In this message from the Sermon on the Mount, we continue our series through The Blessed Life According to the Son by examining the third Beatitude. Jesus teaches that the blessed life is marked by humility before God and gentleness toward others. The meek are content to trust the Lord rather than grasp for power, recognition, or control. The world tells us to fight for our place. Jesus tells us to trust Him with our future. The blessing of meekness is not merely a better attitude. It is the fruit of a life transformed by the Gospel and built upon Christ the Solid Rock.If you have ever struggled with pride, control, anger, or the pressure to prove yourself, this message points us to the freedom and blessing found in humble dependence upon God.Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighborblessed are the meek, Matthew 5:5 sermon, Sermon on the Mount, Beatitudes explained, biblical meekness, Christian humility, strength under control, trusting God's promises, Kingdom of Heaven sermon, King's Chapel Longwood FL
