Dani Poppitt is the real deal songwriter.  She has come up from the orange county busking life and made it to Los Angeles. We discovered each other because we both collaborated with legendary DJ Kaskade who I first experience in Park City Live a few days after I opened for Wiz Khalifa.  In her words, (We're Kaskade Buddies!)     In the time of Corona, I didn't stick to the schedule. We got lots  to discuss. As the end of the live music business sis upon us and I was getting ready to head to SXSW and what was left over of it. Jordan Young is a radio guy from Minneapolis that made hs way over to Los Angeles. We discuss the ideas of the future of the music business. Jordan worked my record to college radio in 2016 and with the ever changing climate we shoot the  sh$t back n forth on the new music and all things to come, from Tom Hanks to music licensing.     Hustle Beach is back with its 10th episode ever and 8th of the year, every single tuesday of 2020.  This week we hear the story of Snowflake Black , who we have the pleasure of touring together with Lucille Crew in my first big Israel tour since moving here.  I met up with him in NYC after a meeting at the Fader. We drank coffee, went to the Empire State Building and recorded this podcast in my mom's car. Snowflake Black has been at it for a long time. We speak writing, collaborations, and life growing up in Little Rock Arkansas.  We chat normal living life  and bartending to joining Lucille Crew and playing in front of thousands of people in Europe and in Israel.  We speak solo life artistry  versus group life, and also being the non-jewish guy from Brooklyn that is literally flying to Israel to perform for packed shows at all times!!  A honest guy with a real story and a real hustle.     Hustle Beach Episode 007: Oren Maisner of Jacobs Ladder

    We are back again with another tuesday of the Hustle Beach Podcast I have just returned to Israel and in celebration of such an arrival, I want to introduce to you good friend and guitarist of Jacobs Ladder. We first met in 2007 at a show in DC and have loosely stayed in touch Sith some recent collaborations.  Something I really love about this guy is that although I don't quite understand him or he isn't on the brink of fame, he has a great attitude and energy that is very "South Beach."     Hustle Beach Episode 006: Sundance Film Festival with NIck Morton

    Welcome back to Hustle Beach, with a special edition from Park City at the  Sundance Film Festival! Sundance has been a home for the hustle of my music for some time.  I have my gotten my music in films like the Skinny by Jessie Kahnweiler . I have opened for Wiz Khalifa (just last week)  here as well as Travis Scott and Machine Gun Kelly, as well as rapping in random living rooms with Pras from the Fugees As music is the thing to hustle here, I finally get to sit down with someone who is ACTUALLY in the movie business. Nick Morton of Whitewater Films tells some of his journey into comedy, writing and producing over 25 films including Ray and Big In Japan, as well our somewhat  connected experience on Vans Warped Tour with Fat Kid Rules the World in 2012  (after raising $160,000 on Kickstarter!)
