The thing I love most about Steve Faulkner is that he is a kind, honest, and caring person. One of the phrases that he recommends as "advice on how to live" is the following: "Gentle on the person, hard on the issue." That approach to life really shows through in his podcasts (and everything else he does). I have been following Steve for about a year. I watch his Magic reviews on YouTube, and I have also enrolled in his online magic course, which I highly recommend (www.onlinemagic.co) Beyond being a good person, he is an EXCELLENT MAGICIAN. His performing ability is fabulous, he is a great teacher, he loves to study magic just for his own enjoyment and then he ends up sharing what he learns with the rest of us. It is clear that he is also extremely intelligent and has a lot of wisdom about life in general to share. This podcast gets my highest recommendation! Check it out! *** UPDATE *** May 18, 2025: I continue to watch all of Steve's podcasts and take his classes… Nothing I have written above has changed. Steve is the kind of guy you want to have as your best friend. What more can I say?... Well, here are a few more thoughts: In addition to being a top flight magician… And by that I mean a true professional who performs in front of large audiences and has also won awards for his performances... He also does stand-up comedy and he uses that talent when performing magic. When appropriate, he adds comedy to his magic… And sometimes this comedy is "laugh out loud funny!" Have I mentioned that Steve can juggle? Yes, he can, and he is good! Those skills are included in his Magic as well. I can't say enough positive about Steve. Check out these podcasts… They are simply outstanding! *** UPDATE *** July 28, 2025: Despite the fact that Steve gets frustrated because he can't make more of these podcasts due to lack of free time, I have just discovered that I have only listened to eight out of the 20 that currently exist! Shame on me! Anyway, all eight have been brilliant, and I just listened to my ninth which was the interview with Mark Elsdon! This gentleman is not just a professional magician, he is an author, philosopher, teacher, and goodness knows how many other things! I suspect one could easily call him a "genius". I'm not even going to attempt to say more about this podcast other than I give it my highest recommendation! Check it out! You will learn about things related to Magic and the arts in general that have probably never even crossed your mind before. It is well worth your time. Brilliant content, and a very entertaining listen. Great job, Steve!… As usual :) *** UPDATE *** August 3, 2025: I'll keep this very short, as I'm sure people will get bored with my updates. Episode 29 with Andi Gladwin... a discussion focused on Marlo… Steve and Andi are both super nice people and wonderful to listen to. I thoroughly enjoyed this one… FIVE STARS!
