Also covered the reports of Tekashi 6ix9ine allegedly refusing witness protection and rumors about him signing a new $10,000,000 record deal with his current label. The panel also reviews the 2019 BET HIPHOP AWARDS rating the best performances of the night and their take on the awards won throughout the night, also shedding light on how the award show is consumed a lot less than other popular award shows. Winding down into a more serious topic the guys discuss the aftermath of the Amber Guyger trail. Hosted by an unapologetic panel not afraid of social backlash. During episode 1 the panel discussed the specifics of Tekashi 69's federal case involving The Nine Trey Bloods and personal opinions on how they feel with him cooperating with the feds. Also bringing up this years 2019 Hip-Hop Forbes list top earners with Kayne West coming in at #1 with $150 million pre taxed income. Never was the same marks its 6th year anniversary this week, so the topic of Drake was brought up and the guys debated wether or not Drake was still on the rise to another record breaking peak or if he's slowly on the decline.
