The Jeremy Lion Podcast

Jeremy Lions’ Podcast is a surreal fictional program about a children’s tv entertainer who’s hit rock bottom - and knows it. Unperturbed, he’s still out there: doing the two things he knows how to do: putting on a sub-par kids’ show (using the only media outlet still open for him: podcasting), and drinking lots of alcohol. On the one hand, TJLP is a hilarious satire - extremely well made and well acted; on the other, its a tragic look at a once semi-successful tv personality in free fall, about to hit earth and smash into the reality of his failure with devastating consequences. Hopefully there will be a second series of episodes, with a bit of a hopeful glimmer for Lion, as he attempts to stand (however wobbly) on his two feet again.
