    Lyrics below. “Hallelujah” is a symphonic progressive rock ballad influenced by the British psychedelic and orchestral rock sounds of the late 1960s and early 1970s(like the Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, etc). Opening with an ancient, ethereal melodic motif on Mellotron flute, the composition unfolds through expressive flute passages, sweeping orchestral strings, rich vocal harmonies, and dramatic crescendos. The flute phrasing draws upon the adventurous folk-blues traditions of British progressive rock, while the expansive arrangement evokes the majestic atmosphere of classic symphonic rock. Written in 2004, “Hallelujah” the 2026 version is a meditation on the passing of time, the fleeting nature of earthly life, and the eternal significance of loving and following Jesus Christ. The lyrics reflect the biblical call to bear lasting fruit, lay aside the sin that hinders us, and press toward the heavenly prize. The repeated “Hallelujah” becomes a declaration of praise, culminating in the enduring truth that nothing will last but God's love.     Who Paints The Sky

    Lyrics Below. another version of our song. “Who Paints the Sky?” is an expressive folk-rock song influenced by Bruce Cockburn, featuring intricate fingerstyle acoustic guitar. Blending Canadian folk-rock with subtle Celtic and jazz influences, the arrangement features warm bass, organic drums, rich vocal harmonies, and dynamic interplay between acoustic guitar and violin. I wrote this song one afternoon in 1998 while sitting outside with my boys, watching the billowing clouds gently passing overhead and marveling at the glorious colors of the sky. As an artist myself, I began thinking about how the Creator God is the ultimate artist, painting the heavens with colors, shapes, and beauty beyond anything human hands could create. That afternoon, surrounded by the wonder of His creation, the words and melody of “Who Paints the Sky?” came to me. Years later, as my youngest son, who, like his father, is an artist and had been there that afternoon when I originally wrote the song, was preparing for his wedding, he asked me to bring the song with me when I traveled across the country to visit him for the wedding. In preparing the song for that special occasion, I added two additional verses celebrating the mountains and the seven seas. What began as a simple afternoon of wonder shared with my boys had come full circle, becoming part of another meaningful moment in our family's life. The song celebrates the beauty of God's creation and the incomparable majesty of the Creator, whose love is revealed not only in the heavens and the earth but ultimately through Jesus Christ.     **OVERCOMING** “Overcoming” is a classic 1970s-style country-rock song with melodic pedal steel guitar, Southern rock influences, and rich vocal harmonies.
