    Metta Meditation for Loving Kindness

    Welcome to the Metta meditation for loving kindness. This practice is designed to increase feelings of self-love, empathy, understanding, and kindness. It can be especially helpful if you are seeking greater empathy with another person, and even greater kindness towards oneself. Yesterday I asked this question on my facebook page. I got a TON of comments mostly taking us back to learning to be hard on ourselves from our mothers.
