Tracing Black Queerness in The Harlem Renaissance

In  the Bleached Whale, Sharon P Holland states “Imagine a world wherein some bodies are accessible to others 24/7-open in a way that helped define, articulate and defend the category of the human. In this world, what would sexuality mean? What would be it’s practice? How would be recognize it?”  How can Black Sexuality be studied and defined? Where in history can we find traces of Black Queerness? Join Alexis and Me as we discuss Black Queerness and try to connect it to the Harlem Renaissance.   #Queerinwhileblk #QWB
