Episode 4 - Hags to the Left of Me, Werewolves to the Right
(Just a heads up - this episode contains more strong language than usual, and is a bit darker than the average episode.) Here I am - stuck in the middle with Albion. The only way this showdown could be more dramatic is if a tumbleweed blows through. Wait, this show is set in Vermont? Damn.

The gang's investigation grinds to a halt when Ro is confronted by Det. Sgt. Ditko and digs herself in too deep; Albion, Sylvester, and Desdemona uncover a dark revelation that could have drastic ramifications.

Just started listening and I LOVE IT
Yeah another podcast I’ve fallen in love with thanks to my amazing friend who recommended it to me. This is an amazing cast and amazing game play as well. Even though I’m on earlier episodes I cannot wait to get caught up!
A delightful intersection
I am usually not a story driven podcast listener. I am, in fact, guilty of indulging in a wee bit too much true crime. I will power through your occasional adventure zone arcs but beyond that I don't have an overarching interest in narrative driven RPG podcasts. That said, Green Mountain Mysteries has managed to hold my interest by incorporating a focus on stories that are more nuanced than just "good guys vs bad guys." Each NPC has depth exhibits character development. I am ESPECIALLY fond of Rowan although that may be a result of her incredible irritation with humanity as a whole. The sound design is excellent. The story leaves me guessing, and the theme song makes me feel like I've come home. I also appreciate the show's handling of trauma narratives, and that it seems natural that there are LGBTQ* and POC characters rather than phoned in. Now I just have to get my husband caught up so I can start binge listening again.
Top notch voice acting and music.
There’s a lot to appreciate here. The music, the voice acting, the commitment to real world material, but especially the compelling plots and emotional depth of the episodes. The places these characters take you will often give you pause for thought. Especially when leaning into the emotional toll of the arcane. Highly recommended.
