    Stop Selling Yoga. Solve a Problem People Actually Have.

    If you’re trying to build an online yoga or wellness business, it can feel nearly impossible to stand out. Because if you’re offering generic online yoga classes, you’re competing with thousands of free videos on YouTube, yoga apps, and established teachers with huge personal brands. If someone doesn’t know you yet, why would they choose you? In this episode, I’m sharing a different way to think about your offer: start with a real-life problem your people actually want help solving, and then use yoga, breathwork, meditation, Ayurveda, or whatever your tools are to help them get there. I’ll share a few things I would personally pay for right now, from help getting back to sleep at 3am to short strength workouts for women over 50, plus examples of entrepreneurs on Skool who are building successful communities around specific problems and desires. We’ll also talk about how to identify a problem you could become known for solving, how to get beyond vague promises like “feel more balanced” or “reduce stress,” and why you don’t need to have your perfect niche figured out before you start.     "Yoga Shouldn't Be a Business" and Other Myths with George Kao

    Almost every time I launch something, at least one person tells me that yoga shouldn't be a business. If you've ever felt that quiet discomfort around selling your work, this conversation with George Kao is going to feel like a relief. George Kao has been coaching heart-led entrepreneurs since 2009, and he's spent all of that time working out one question: how do you market and sell without manipulating anyone or losing yourself in the process. His answer is that authentic marketing is really just telling the truth in service of the people you want to help, or as he puts it, making friends at scale. In this episode we get into what that looks like in practice, and why it tends to work better over time than the pressure tactics so many of us have been sold. We also talk about the tension that comes up for so many yoga teachers around money, including where the belief that spiritual work shouldn't be paid even comes from, and why George thinks it no longer serves us. And we spend a good while on AI, because George has automated most of his admin as a solopreneur and has a refreshing view on it: that using AI well frees you up to be more human in your business, not less.     Building an Authentic Online Yoga Business with Arundhati Baitmangalkar

    Arundhati Baitmangalkar, host of the popular Let's Talk Yoga podcast, never planned to build any of this. She didn't set out to have a studio, a podcast, or an online yoga school.
