    September 2026: Waxing Moon

All times Eastern — adjust for your location. We’re in the waxing moon cycle this week. Last week’s new moon in Virgo landed during a Uranus retrograde, and you may have noticed — or felt personally — some big shifts or changes surfacing in your life. That could look like a sudden 180°, or a situation unveiling itself as a catalyst for change. If you haven’t felt it yet, the retrograde continues for a few months, so it may still be stirring something up depending on your natal chart. Uranus is currently in early Gemini, so air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) and mutable signs (Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo) are most likely to feel it through transit. Knowing where Gemini falls in your chart — the house, the planets involved — shows you which area of life is opening up for change over the next several years. Uranus isn’t fast-moving, but it’s not glacial either. Over the next seven or eight years, expect this kind of shift to keep surfacing. Scale varies — when I had a Uranus transit eight years ago, which hit me, my husband, and my mother-in-law all at once, and we ended up moving. Right now we’re in a strong Uranian sweep, with retrograde undercurrents running beneath it. But this week’s waxing moon has good momentum for building whatever you want to focus on. Monday–Tuesday, Sept 14–15: Scorpio Moon — deep healing, Virgo Sun The moon moves through Scorpio on Monday and Tuesday, working well with the new moon’s momentum to help unfold whatever you’re focused on over the coming week, month, or year — especially anything tied to Virgo: day-to-day routines, health, coworkers, wherever your energy and work go. Virgo also covers pets, since they’re so woven into our daily routines as is the responsibility of caring for them. As my husband puts it: dogs have owners, cats have staff. However you tend to the animals — or the hearth, your center, the hearth of your life more broadly — reflects how well you’re tending things generally. The sun is in Virgo all week, so the moon’s aspects keep touching it, some smoothly and some will create more demands. These two days carry a strong pull toward addressing family, finances, routines, and health — asking, how can I do this more deeply? Some of us have well-set routines; others have had life (a health incident, aging, a move) force those routines to shift. That’s the Scorpio edge: it looks straight at the wound, lances it, and isn’t afraid of the mess, because that’s what healing requires. This is profound territory — physical, emotional, intellectual, or creative. I’ve noticed in my own life, moving through different careers, that I periodically outgrow how I used to do things. That always requires an upheaval, a completion, before I can move into what’s next. Scorpio asks for that kind of courage — not the scorpion’s reflexive strike (the fear and revenge we see so much of right now), but the eagle’s wide-seeing vision, and ultimately the phoenix’s willingness to let the old form die so something new can rise from it. Tuesday the 15th is especially intense. Wednesday, Sept 16: momentum with detours The moon goes void-of-course at 11:30 PM Tuesday — a good window to rest and reset — then enters Sagittarius at 12:41 PM Wednesday. Use the morning to tie up loose ends before the shift. Sagittarius energy is more confrontational: fire, mutable, eager to move on an idea or vision. Watch for an upset or detour, especially from mid-afternoon onward, in anything initiated today — the chart of a launch reflects the energy present at that moment. That’s not a bad thing; it’s attachment to one path that blocks growth. Stay loyal to the ideal, not to exactly how it unfolds. Thursday–Friday, Sept 17–18: working out the details By Thursday the 17th, the moon has passed its opposition to Uranus, and the energy turns productive and fiery through Friday. Expect to be making adjustments — ideas move faster than the logistics (money, timing, who’s on board), so Wednesday through Friday afternoon becomes about filling in those details. None of it derails the underlying momentum: this waxing moon is about creating, pushing forward, and building on ideals. The moon goes void-of-course again at 4:44 PM Friday and stays void through the night, entering Capricorn at 12:55 AM Saturday. That void stretch Friday evening is ideal for fun and expansion — new food, a new film, anything that stretches your sense of possibility. Think of it as bushwhacking: the direction is already set, so use the time to clear the path rather than start something new. Weekend of Sept 19–20: assessing what’s real Moon in Capricorn makes the weekend dynamic and task-focused — good for getting things done, whether work on your home or perhaps work through in a relationship that isn’t giving you the support you need (or vice versa). Capricorn wants tangible results. It can also feel heavy: a sense of “this is hard” or “I’m on my own.” Worth paying attention to, since unexamined feelings tend to leak out sideways. Saturday the 19th especially may bring up a sense of being unsupported or shortchanged — funds tight, or lacking what you need to finish something. Don’t try to get blood from a stone. Instead, assess clearly, so that by Sunday the 20th you can put in place what the project actually needs — whether that’s a practical fix around the house or a longer-term shift within your family or work. Seeing clearly where the gaps are — in support, funding, or love — without rushing to solve it in the moment, is the real use of this weekend. Plowing ahead while ignoring the weak spots is what leads to over-extension. Clear eyes first, then act. Virgo New Moon 2026

Those of you who listen to my podcast regularly probably expected this to drop Sunday morning — my apologies, it’s a little late. Still, it’s coming in before the forecast period begins: September 7th, Labor Day in the US and, from what I can see, in Canada too. Labor Day marks the end of summer in the northern hemisphere. And yes, “America” includes North and South America — a word getting new scrutiny as the US President keeps claiming it exclusively, which doesn’t really hold up. You could just as easily trace “America” back to early Spanish colonization. It’s all part of a larger pattern: denial of history alongside a questioning, an eruption, maybe a restructuring of it, as AI reshapes how people see the past and the road ahead. Very Pluto-in-Aquarius — all of us shapeshifting into whatever i s actually possible for human beings in the 21st century. Those possibilities sharpen over the next couple of years, as people push back against an undercurrent that feels inevitable: extracting the earth’s resources to the max before the 1% head off to Mars. Anyway — onto the week. Monday, September 7 — A Void Morning, Then a Sweet Leo Shift The moon is in Cancer until 12:49 p.m. Eastern, when it moves into Leo. But it goes void of course at 9:40 a.m., so for a few hours mid-to-late morning there’s no emotional glue to carry an agreement, idea, or initiation through to completion. That said, because Cancer mirrors the moon’s own energy, this void feels different from most. Cancerian themes — nurturing, home, our relationship to women, moodiness, sensitivity — are still very much accessible even in the void. (If the moon is void in your own natal sign, you may feel emotionally charged regardless.) What matters is whether anything ties things together enough for follow-through. Treat these hours as good for savoring an idea, not launching one. Once the moon enters Leo at 12:49 p.m., the energy turns sweet and fiery — it dovetails with Jupiter, also in Leo, and later sextiles Venus. This is a nice stretch, running through Wednesday afternoon, for wrapping things up and deciding what you won’t carry into the next lunar cycle. One caveat: Monday evening, the moon in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius. If you have planets in early degrees of a fixed sign, or natal placements affected by the ongoing Pluto-in-Aquarius transit, you may feel this building on Monday or even a day or two before — as unease, power struggles, or friction around power, money, or health. I have planets in early-degree Aquarius myself, so I’m deep in this transit, and in total candor, I’ve been dealing with a lot around my body’s physicality. That’s part of why this episode dropped later than usual — I’m learning that fuel comes from rest, diet, and focus on self, not from powering through the way I always have. Pluto, god of the underworld, symbolizes the unconscious — for me that’s meant confronting generational trauma and family legacies. So there may be a wrinkle for some of us Monday. But whether it’s grief, creative block, or heartbreak, going through it — not skirting or suppressing it — is how we get to the other side. When the moon dances with Pluto, it’s an invitation to notice what we’re pushing away from, dive in, and swim through the current: confront it, absorb it, integrate it, and ultimately grow from it. Later Monday evening through the 8th (especially mid-afternoon on) is genuinely rich — a good time to connect with where the love, support, funds, and resources are that you need to complete or build whatever you’re working on. Tuesday–Wednesday, September 8–9 — Steady Virgo Groundwork The moon goes void of course at 2:58 p.m. Wednesday, then enters Virgo at 3:35 p.m. These are solid days for working with what’s actually in front of you rather than feeling everything’s an uphill battle — you have the tools to move toward real accomplishment. While in Virgo, the moon will square Uranus at an early degree of Gemini — both are mutable signs, which gives us adaptability to work with. Uranus tends to bring unexpected, jack-in-the-box energy wherever it travels; in Gemini, that often looks like people blurting things out, saying things in ways that land wrong. There’s a revelatory quality to it right now. I think a big piece of this is “out of the mouths of babes” — children reacting to things in unprecedented ways. Handed devices before they could speak, many kids haven’t developed the proprioceptive learning that comes from pen, paper, clay, and paint — and we’re going to start seeing the effects of that. Virgo (an earth sign linked to Mercury, unlike airy, verbal Gemini) communicates through hands and craft as much as words, so expect more public conversation about the body-mind connection and the limits of our devotion to all things electronic. Thursday, September 10 — New Moon in Virgo The new moon lands in Virgo at 18°26’, exact at 11:27 p.m. Eastern. Leading up to it, Uranus stations retrograde — when it does, it tends to coincide with some seismic or newsworthy event, whether that’s something physical in the earth, a public revolution or statement, or something quieter and more personal that still catches us by surprise. This dark-moon-into-new-moon stretch is strong for real movement. Ask yourself: what do I want to initiate? Something physical? A plan I want to lay groundwork for? A new health program? This new moon supports genuine follow-through — though it may be worth letting ideas cook over the weekend rather than launching immediately, since acting too fast on a new moon can be premature. Friday, September 11 — Void All Day, Made for Clearing the Decks The moon goes void of course at 1:52 a.m. and doesn’t enter Libra until 7:52 p.m. — void of course all day, still in Virgo. Use it to plan: figure out what to set up, complete, or clear off your desk before diving into a new program or thought next week. Clear the decks, get your email in order, clear your head before moving into new experiences as the new moon unfolds. Weekend, September 12–13 — Libra Discussions The moon enters Libra Friday evening and stays there through Saturday and all day Sunday, going void of course again at 10:27 a.m. Sunday and remaining void the rest of the day. The theme: discussions — with people you’re planning to work or partner with, family, partners — about how you’ll get support and put things in place. The most important thing this weekend is to actually listen. You may want to partner with someone a particular way, but if you hear that they don’t have the time, interest, or commitment you do — or want to do it differently — take that seriously. Pushing forward anyway just costs you time and traction with this new moon energy, because you’ll be fighting to make something happen with people who aren’t on board. If no one’s showing up and you’re not finding the right players, don’t let the weekend end on defeat. Evaluate honestly — maybe this version of the plan, or this partnership, isn’t coming together. You can scuttle it or decide to drift and reevaluate; neither is giving up. It just means your initial idea or team isn’t where you’d like it to be yet — that doesn’t mean you won’t still follow through. Virgo is about the details, but as a dear friend of mine says about big projects: don’t get hung up on the details when what matters is the overall concept. Hold onto that concept, trust the details to follow, and figure out who’s actually willing to play in the sandbox with you. If someone else has a different idea about how this should work, sit with it instead of resisting outright — you may still decide it’s not your direction, but that back-and-forth is how you find your way. The honest truth: you can’t shake hands and make something happen with someone who sees it in a totally different light. You won’t come together unless you agree on the overall concept. Virgo New Moon 2026
  3. Aug 30

    September 2026 Astrology Forecast

Okay, moving into September — here we are, Monday, August 31, 2026. The times I give are Eastern Time, so adjust depending on where you are. This is one of those weeks with some long void-of-course moons, so let me give you a quick synopsis. A void-of-course moon is when the moon makes no other aspects to another heavenly body before it changes signs. The ancient intelligence around this is that there’s no emotional glue to carry a thought or concept through into something we initiate. It doesn’t mean things will never happen — but if you want something to have traction, legs, or go the distance, you don’t want to concretize, shake hands, or establish anything absolute during a void-of-course moon. It’s far better to say, “Let’s revisit this,” or “When can we meet again?” — something that leads you into a time when resolution and like minds can actually happen. I bring this up because on Monday, the moon goes void-of-course at 3:47 p.m. Eastern, and stays void until the next day. So anything you want to get done, sign off on, or make sure everyone’s aligned on is best handled before that late afternoon. After that, we’re in a state where the VOC moon in Aries moves its fast, fiery energy... and wants to initiate and do what it wants to do. Ideas may fly. There can be a sense of “oh, let’s do this!” or “yeah, sure!” — and then it never goes anywhere, because people have already moved on to the next exciting thing that’s captured their attention. That’s why it’s so important to use the earlier part of the day to make things happen. One thing to keep in mind if you’re moving quickly or trying to get something off the ground: be aware of how it’s landing with other people. With that fiery, let’s-move energy, it’s easy to not pay enough attention to how others are experiencing it — you can burn bridges or upset people who feel they weren’t considered or consulted. It’s always better to make sure the way you’re doing something is actually landing well, rather than pushing too hard or overlooking someone’s feelings or preferences. Not everyone worries about this, but for those of us who do, it’s worth checking in and asking how the other person feels about it. This also might hit you personally, right in the gut — you need something to happen and you’re moving with momentum, but it’s not quite going the way you’d like. To make it happen, there’s a bit of give and take involved. Is it full enough? Good enough? Will it create what you actually want, or are you compromising to the point where it’s worth taking more time instead? Sometimes the ideal move is to walk away — “Yes, I want that property,” or “Yes, I’d like to sell, but the money isn’t meeting my comfort zone.” That’s just one example of how this energy might play out personally, versus working with someone else who may feel like their toes are getting stepped on — both are worth being aware of. So once the moon goes void in Aries, there’s a lot of “do it, move forward, full steam ahead” energy that needs to be expended. The ideal is to recognize when you need to move and make things happen — and to do it in a way that’s kind to your body, your energy, and the people around you. Do things your body is comfortable moving through, so you can burn off whatever’s running hot and fast, and then work with it more gracefully. Work on things already in process, bounce around ideas that don’t need to be finalized yet, or simply enjoy and stay stimulated. Those are great ways to spend the late afternoon and evening of Monday, August 31st. Tuesday, September 1st We move into different energy when the moon enters Taurus at 4:01 a.m. I think this can be a lovely day. One thing to keep in mind: some of us might feel a power struggle within ourselves — a kind of inertia. Taurus is a fixed earth sign, about as fixed as it gets. It moves when it wants to move, on its own timeline and within its comfort zone. Some of us may feel pushed to make something happen and end up feeling blocked, or we wake up without the energy we’d like for whatever we’re trying to accomplish. I can’t emphasize enough one of the great gifts of Taurus: patience. If you generally run short on patience, this is a good day — especially in the morning — to work with that. “I’m not feeling as energetic as I’d like. My kid isn’t moving as fast as I’d like. My spouse, my coworker, whatever — things aren’t happening the way I want.” Patience, patience, patience. Remember: everything has its own perfect timing. In the morning hours, as the moon moves through Taurus, the ideal approach is to assess, moderate, balance, and work with what is — rather than getting hung up on how you think it should be, or on someone who feels like they’re standing in your way. When we get paralyzed or stymied by things that feel insurmountable, we’re not seeing our way through. For some of us, depending on the transit, Pluto in early Aquarius can hit especially hard if you have strong placements in the fixed signs — Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio. That doesn’t have to be your sun sign; it could be your rising sign, Venus, or moon. It’s always valuable to know where these planets are moving through your personal chart, because it gives you insight into how things are affecting you. So if you were born in the early degrees of those signs, or have prominent placements there, you’ll feel these lunar transits more than others. Remember: the moon is the emotional weather. As it travels, it triggers and ignites — it’s a catalyst for wherever we are in our process, as we move through our ongoing evolution on this planet. Once we get past that slightly bumpy stretch mid-morning, we settle into the sweet energy of moon in Taurus. The most important thing here is not to get overwhelmed, distracted, or lose sight of your priorities. Stay on track. Moon in Taurus is great for following through on something you want done — for patience, for focus. And it’s always a good reminder to stay grounded in the body. Eat things that feel nurturing. For some of us that’s comfort food; for others, it’s staying on program with what really gives us vitality. Sometimes those are the same thing — comfort food can absolutely be good for the body too. Overall, late morning into the rest of the day is lovely for slow productivity and for the kind of connection that leaves you feeling grounded. This carries into the next day, and the sweetest part of this window runs through early morning, 6:47 a.m. — after which the moon goes void-of-course for the rest of the day. Normally, when the moon is void, it’s not a time to start things — but Taurus is exalted when the moon sits there. The ancients considered it one of the best lunar placements (astrologers can and do argue about that, as we always do, with our different schools, orientations, attachments, and biases — whether we admit to them or not). Overall, when the moon is void in Taurus, the key reminder is to stay grounded — give yourself a sense of place. “I’m working here because this is where I can focus. I’m eating this because it nourishes me now. I’m going to this park or museum because it lifts my physical spirit.” It’s a reminder of the physicality of our existence, and when we honor that, we can really enjoy the fertile energy available during a Taurus void moon. It’s strong for productivity, creativity, fertility, and building or constructing what we want — but the key is focus, focus, focus. What’s the important thing to do right now? Taurus asks: be present in the body. Thursday, September 3rd The moon enters Gemini at 7:47 a.m. This is also a really good arc of energy — it sails through and makes a sweet connection with Venus before going void. Thursday can bring a lot of stimulus, ideas, and discussion — great for rubbing sticks together and getting a spark going. Stay open to whatever comes in during the late afternoon and evening; it can feel like inspiration, a hit, an “aha” moment where things come together. It might be instantaneous, something you hold onto, or just a nice burst of energy that carries you into Friday. Friday, September 4th The evening before may bring some evaluation of how things are moving as we come off last week’s new moon eclipse energy. Are we heading in the direction we want? Do we need to shift course? Are things moving in a way that supports and energizes us? That dreamy stretch from Thursday evening into the early hours of Friday can help reorient you for the weekend and how to make the most of it. Friday is a dynamic day for having support systems in place, connecting with like-minded people, getting things off the ground, and staying open to inspiration. The important thing to keep in mind, especially heading into the later afternoon and evening, is that Gemini energy brings a lot of verbal gymnastics and quick jumps from one thought to another — so clarity matters. I run into this all the time with my husband: we’re on the same wavelength with Mercury, but sometimes we each hear what we want to hear, and follow-through gets lost. When a lot of ideas are being tossed around — “we could do this, or that, or this other option” — and the conversation seems to wind down to a resolution, make sure everyone actually walks away with the same understanding. Ideas move fast in Gemini, and it’s easy for one person (or a whole group) to land on one version of the plan while someone else remembers it differently. So follow up — text, email, WhatsApp, whatever works for you — and confirm: “Okay, appointment at 5 p.m.” or whatever needs to be finalized, so everyone leaves with the same picture. That’s the most important thing to keep in mind Friday — and even a little the day before — because Gemini moves so fast that people who think quickly can

    Eclipse Week: August 24–30, 2026

Monday, August 24 — Void-of-Course Moon in Capricorn The week opens with a void-of-course moon all day. Void-of-course means the moon is making no geometric aspects to another planet before it changes signs — so while it’s in Capricorn, it gives the day a certain flavor, but there’s no active “dialogue” with another planet. It’s worth knowing where Capricorn falls in your chart, since the moon is moving through that area of your life. But generally, a void moon means no emotional “glue” — no catalyst to push a new idea, vision, or connection forward. A new acquaintance or idea may generate talk but stay flat until the moon re-engages with another planet. Use Monday for things already in motion, not new ventures — it’s not the day to pitch an investor or go on a long-awaited first date. Favor routine: organize, clear your desk, restock. Fair warning: a void moon often means the store won’t have what you’re looking for, so it’s not the day to shop for that party dress. Tuesday, August 25 — Moon Enters Aquarius (5:02 AM ET) Things start cooking once the moon shifts into Aquarius, the sign of networking and connection — often intuitive rather than logical. If you’re shy, Aquarian energy favors strategy: arrive early and help out, or find the person standing alone. This is a strong stretch for matching people to projects and easing introductions. Early morning is a good time to notice what’s holding you back — rethink an old pattern or outdated story rather than consider it real and current. Watch for: later morning into midday, the moon aligns exactly with Pluto. For anyone with moon-Pluto aspects, this can feel intense — power struggles, a sense of manipulation, or something withheld. Ask whether it’s happening now or triggering an old wound. Moon-Pluto is powerfully transformational when we’re conscious of its source; unexamined, it can feel like something pulling at us. If you feel this dynamic with someone close — a coworker, boss, child — step back with Aquarian objectivity and look at the bigger picture. You may also see something revealed more publicly this week, tied to the larger Pluto-in-Aquarius cycle that continues for years: how people create change while making room for many voices rather than a few. Overall, an excellent day for connection, communication, and solving relational problems. Wednesday, August 26 — Focus and Narrow Down Tuesday’s momentum carries over, but the emphasis shifts to narrowing focus. If you generated a lot of ideas or met a lot of people, now’s the time to sort out what’s essential — the core of what you most value — and put your full attention there, the way the most important cooking ingredient is always love. This focus runs strong from dawn until the moon goes void-of-course at 5:59 PM. Because the eclipse is approaching, stay adaptable — a shift in plans (someone leaves, new info arrives) is easier to handle if you’re not rigidly attached to the original shape. Once the moon goes void in the evening, share ideas freely, but hold off finalizing anything. Thursday, August 27 — Moon Enters Pisces (mid-afternoon) The moon stays void in Aquarius through the morning — good for following through on existing plans, staying specific and adaptable. It enters Pisces mid-to-late afternoon, moving us straight into eclipse energy. Friday, August 28 — Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (12:18 AM ET) The full moon lunar eclipse is exact at 4°54’ Pisces, 12:18 AM Eastern. It carries strong “I’m going to do this” energy, but Pisces expresses it indirectly — soft, subtle, unrelenting, like a steady drip. Momentum has been building toward whatever you’ve chosen to focus on, and adaptability is the key theme: even with a clear goal, expect to move like a dance partner adjusting to changes, sometimes dancing solo. Picture swimming when the current pulls you somewhere unplanned — rather than fighting it, you conserve energy and work with it back to shore. This eclipse may bring pivots that make the original plan feel unreachable as imagined. Stay focused on the underlying goal rather than the exact form you pictured. Letting go of attachment to how something happens is often what lets real inspiration through — nothing may need to change at all, just speed up or slow down a little. The moon goes void-of-course at 12:14 PM Friday and stays void through Saturday night until 10:38 PM. Saturday, August 29 — Void Moon Continues With the moon void into late Saturday night, this stretch favors openness over pushing for outcomes. Moon in Pisces is about tapping into what’s beyond the directly seen and touched: time in nature, a museum, music, dance — anything offering a sense of floating and presence, even if you’re carrying a heavy load right now. The Moon goes void of course Friday afternoon, staying void through Saturday until 10:38 PM. The loveliest way to spend that stretch — Friday afternoon and evening, all Saturday — is to stay open to whatever inspiration comes. Moon in Pisces is about tapping into dimensions beyond what we can feel and touch. Get into nature, visit a museum, listen to music, dance — anything that gives you that floating sense of enjoying the moment, even under heavy burdens. I’ve mentioned this before: for years I did heavy caregiving — parents, mother-in-law, plus raising my child (actually the easiest part). Constant trips to senior housing and nursing homes, on top of work and family. Through it all, I had pockets of nature I’d retreat to — woods, shoreline, river. Fifteen minutes during the back-and-forth, sometimes longer when I could manage it, just absorbing it. That’s good medicine. It lifts the spirits, shifts your perspective, and reminds you there’s more to the world than whatever you’re facing right now. The Moon enters Aries at 10:38 PM Saturday the 29th, carrying through Sunday to midnight. Aries Moon — first sign of the zodiac, fire, cardinal — wants to move. Sunday, August 30 Expect high energy. As evening approaches, tempers may run short and frustration can surface, so find a healthy outlet — walk, run, swim, whatever your body naturally does. Don’t push past your normal limits, but move. Moving the energy makes it far easier to direct somewhere constructive. This is a dynamic day. If you’re working with others, or stretching finances, keep balance in mind. It’s not the day to overextend, push too hard, or assert without weighing consequences. Know where you want to go, and say so — but don’t push further than the wallet, or the people, are willing to go. Otherwise, the consequences won’t be comfortable. Eclipse Week: August 24–30, 2026
  5. Aug 16

    Waxing Moon Cycle, Post-Eclipse

We’re in the waxing moon cycle following the new moon that kicked off last week’s eclipse in Leo. We’re gathering momentum around individual expression within the collective — and for some people, that’s going to be ego-busting. Being heard within the collective isn’t about standing at the front of the room saying “listen to me.” It’s about how we can work together, collaborate, and build new worlds and new visions. That’s where we’re at. There’s a strong pull right now to have people toe the line, fall in lockstep, and do things a certain way — but that’s just not where we’re headed, evolutionarily speaking. What we’re seeing instead feels like disruption: new people, new voices, collective energy questioning and pushing back against the status quo. This is building energy. Monday, August 17 The morning begins with the moon in Libra, still in its waning/waxing cycle. It’s well-aspected for early risers — all times given here are Eastern, so adjust for your time zone. By “early risers,” I mean the moon goes void of course at 7:31 a.m. Once the moon is void of course, it doesn’t form geometric aspects with other planetary bodies, meaning there’s no momentum or “glue” to carry a new idea through. If you’re starting something new, this isn’t the window for it. But if you’re already working on something, it’s a great time to focus on that and follow through without getting distracted by shiny objects. It actually looks like a fairly productive void-of-course period, as long as you keep that distinction in mind — new ideas need not apply, but existing projects can move forward. The moon stays void through the traditional workday and enters Scorpio at 5:46 p.m. This can be a useful time for focus, research, and deep-diving into things — with a caveat. It can also be an evening where some of us get into “dog with a bone” situations: this is the way I want it, and I’m not budging. That kind of back-and-forth can feel like a power struggle — and as I’ve said many times, the biggest power struggle is often within ourselves. One part of the psyche wants things a certain way; another part is just as convinced that’s not the way to go. It’s a negotiation period. The most productive way to use this energy is to remember Scorpio’s range. At its most negative, it can be stubborn, vengeful, convinced it’s right, and prone to manipulation or subterfuge. But Scorpio also has other layers — yes, it’s a secretive sign, but it’s also excellent for research, digging down, and getting to the bottom of things. It can be genuinely revelatory. If you find yourself fighting something — whether it’s yourself, someone else, or a situation that feels immovable — dig deeper. Research, strategize, figure out what makes someone tick. Think of Ted Lasso: one of his gifts is his genuine curiosity about why people are the way they are, especially the ones who seem most difficult. Some Scorpios use that same gift for their own agendas, orchestrating outcomes to suit themselves. But in its deeper, more therapeutic sense, this energy is wonderful for understanding why the divisions are there, why the power struggle exists, why someone — even you, looking in the mirror — is so convinced they’re right. How do we shift that frame? When we’re stuck in “this is how it must be,” we stop seeing other options, other escape hatches, other opportunities. And on this stretch of days, especially as Tuesday approaches midday, we may feel a lot of distraction — a sense of “look over here, here’s another way you could go.” The best way to work with this isn’t to grip the bone and refuse to let go. It’s to ask: where’s a good place to store it? Where’s the hole to dig? And as we dig, what do we find — are we hiding it from everyone, or setting it aside until we understand it better? This stretch runs from Monday evening through Wednesday night, when the moon goes void of course at 10:48 p.m. The larger lesson of the moon’s journey through Scorpio is about breaking habitual communication patterns. One of the basic lessons of couples therapy — which applies to any relationship, whether it’s a partner, child, parent, or coworker — is that when we fall into the same call-and-response pattern, we go nowhere. It’s ping-pong: he says this, she says that, back and forth, and the argument, the discussion, the whole concept goes nowhere. What changes the conversation is introducing something new. So instead of your habitual response, try something else — throw the dialogue off its usual track. Yes, the ball will sail somewhere unexpected, and you’ll both stand there a little confused. But that’s what opens up new understanding. Someone might get frustrated when their usual script stops working — but that friction is exactly what starts to break the old ego patterns, which I think is part of the larger lesson this eclipse season is offering: how do we understand each other a little better, change the formula, and create something new? These Scorpio-moon days can be tense, challenging, frustrating. But by late evening on Wednesday the 19th (10:46 p.m. Eastern), once the moon goes void of course again, lean into that quarter-moon energy: wind down, get a good night’s sleep, and let revelations come through the dream world. Moon in Scorpio moving through the dreamscape can be productive — it might startle you, but dreaming is a safe space to let the unconscious bring you closer to understanding. Thursday, August 20 The moon enters Sagittarius at 4:30 a.m. After the intensity of Scorpio, this is a real shift in energy — you may feel more optimistic, and the people around you more adventurous, curious, and willing to take risks. It can be exciting, especially after a couple of days that felt like stop and stop again. One thing to watch for: as mid-afternoon approaches, an aspect between the moon and Uranus can make people accident-prone or inattentive to their surroundings. There’s fast, erratic energy in the air — a lot of “oh, let me go there” impulsiveness. This applies mentally too: if you’re at your keyboard chasing an idea, pay attention to what you’re hitting send on. Accidents don’t just happen in the physical world — they happen electronically too, especially with Uranus involved. By late afternoon, things settle and that erratic buzz starts to quiet. From around 3:45 p.m. Thursday through Saturday the 22nd, we move into a lovely stretch — space to stretch our limbs, stretch our ideas, and stay open to whatever shifts come, riding the wave of this waxing moon toward the changes that need to happen. This eclipse, and the one coming next week, mark a period of real acceleration. Astrologers — myself included — have been talking about this shift for the past year and a half, building since the start of this millennium. You’d have to be living under a rock not to notice the sheer amount of energy signaling change, both positive and negative. With the sun in Sagittarius from the 20th through the 22nd, these can be genuinely empowering days after ones that felt like banging your head against a wall. Enjoy the company of like-minded people. Make the connections that help you sail forward with your objective, even if you’re not entirely clear on what it is yet — you have the vision, the desire, the ambition to stand in your own way of being seen and let things flow. If you’re not currently working on a project or vision, these are great play days: hike, get into nature. I’ve long believed that one of the best ways to fuel change is to give ourselves bursts of that dreamscape feeling — a sense of infinite potential. Nature offers that freely, along with anything that gives the body a sense of freedom, whatever “abled” means for you (mine has changed a lot as I’ve aged). That need to move, stretch, and expand is a great space to be in over these couple of days. One caveat as the moon moves through Sagittarius: stay within your financial boundaries as this expansive energy tempts you toward risk. Be realistic about what you’re investing in or committing to, especially Thursday — you don’t want to overextend and end up asking “why did I do that?” And choose your companions carefully: nothing sours a trip — a day trip or a longer one — like realizing your travel partner is a bad fit for the journey. That goes for any shared venture, not just travel. The moon goes void of course at 4:31 p.m. on Saturday the 22nd — the same day the sun enters Virgo, at 10:19 p.m. That moves us into Virgo energy: mutable earth, an energy of shifting and adapting. If you’re a Virgo, or have strong Virgo in your chart, you know it’s the most adaptable of the earth signs — because to plant seeds, you have to work the soil, and the soil is never the same twice. There’s a grounded wisdom in Virgo’s willingness to shift; it’s stable, but never afraid of change. (Capricorn and Taurus, by contrast, can be more resistant — Capricorn out of caution, Taurus out of preference.) Virgo’s attitude is simply: this is the natural shift, time to adjust. That’s what we’re moving into. Saturday into Sunday The moon enters Capricorn at 4:59 p.m. Saturday — it’s a very different energy from Sagittarius. It may feel like a sudden lead balloon, a hard landing after the high flight. Expect it, and don’t let it overwhelm you — just notice what feels disappointing or challenging. Some of us love the socializing, the momentum, the “on, on, on” — and then when the party’s over, we crash. Prepare for that. A nice bath, a movie to sink into — whatever helps you take care of that “now it stopped” feeling. This can also show up in projects: something that was gaining momentum suddenly feels grounded, blocked. How you interpret that matters. Treating it as defeat makes it more defeating. Treating

    Leo New Moon, Solar Eclipse

This is an eclipse week. Let’s reflect on how we can take advantage of that spark of ignition the new moon eclipse brings. Monday — We’re in the dark of the moon, moving toward the new moon. The couple of days before a new moon is ideally a period of reflection. We make decisions about what we’re going to carry into the next lunar cycle: the things we’re aiming to accomplish, continue working on, or finally decide to reboot — and the things we’re going to shelve, or decide, no, that’s just not happening at this point in time, or ever in my lifetime. So Monday and Tuesday can be days of decision, or simply of listening. One thing I love about this dark-of-moon period is that I always think of the goddess Hecate — very old goddess energy. She was the midwife of both birth and death, standing at the portals of where we begin and where we end. At the end of every lunar cycle, we’re in this stage that you could call coming through the birth canal before the new idea, the concept, the baby, gets born. It’s exciting, because we’re leaning toward something we want to initiate, take off with, give new perspective to. But at the same time, we’re leaving behind everything that came before. So it’s worth pausing at this dark-of-moon period to really consider: where am I putting my energy over the next couple of weeks once the new moon kicks off? And what’s pulling me back — kind of like that pull you feel in the ocean, pushing you back toward shore, or, when it’s really strong, pulling you out to sea. Do you want to be in that space? Where do you want to be? So these couple of days are when we make conscious — or even unconscious — decisions about what we’re putting our energy into, and what’s just pulling us back. The moon is void of course basically all day Monday. That means the moon isn’t making a geometric aspect to another sign or planet before it changes sign. We have the moon in Cancer, moving, but not connecting to anything else. When the moon is in Cancer and void of course, it’s a sign that’s fairly comfortable with that — Cancer is often totally okay with chilling, staying close to home, to the harbor, doing what needs to be done to take care of self and whatever comforts and nurtures. These are good concepts to lean into before we move into higher, more Yang, “out there and going” energy. So I think it’s a very restorative day — ideally, that’s how we can spend it, though depending on your work calendar or what you’ve got going on, that may not be available to you. If you can, modify accordingly, and above all, pay attention to when your body needs meals and rest. That’s a great way to fuel up as we move into more decision-making days. August 11th (all times Eastern — adjust for your time zone): the moon enters Leo at 4:38 AM and stays there all day, moving toward the new moon solar eclipse that’s coming shortly. This is a well-aspected solar eclipse. Eclipses are volatile energy — they ignite, and they often point us toward something valuable to look at. It could be a dream, a symbolic reference, someone you haven’t thought of in a long time, or a recognition like, “oh, there’s a book I read when I was 18 — maybe I should revisit that.” Things come up. If the eclipse is actually touching something in your personal horoscope — it falls at 20 degrees Leo, 2 minutes — then if you have 20 degrees in any sign in your chart, you may feel a little jab, a little recognition from what’s happening in the sky. We’ll keep seeing big movements and fast changes as we move through this year, because the eclipses continue to act as catalysts and openings for transformation — especially when they touch certain world leaders or countries. There’s a lot of powder-keg energy in the world right now, and people in governmental power are making decisions that ripple out well beyond their own countries. In the United States, we’re being run by an eclipse president — someone born during an eclipse. Eclipses, by nature, bring volatility, so Donald Trump is certainly apt to make some sort of sudden decision or announcement this week. One could argue that’s just how he operates, but I’d expect some kind of activity regardless. For the rest of us, with whatever power and control we hold over our own decisions, this eclipse and new moon point is a tremendous time to think about how you want to focus your creative energy. It has so much to do with self-expression. Leo is linked to the fifth house — the divine child. What I mean by that is: each of us is born with light and potential. We’re here to bring something into the world. It may be soft, not especially impactful, or it may be very impactful — but each of us creates a ripple effect through the decisions we make, what we contribute, and what we choose not to. So with this new moon in Leo, especially with a solar eclipse, that recognition of self-potential is right there. It doesn’t have to be a big dynamic show — for some of us it absolutely will be, because that’s how certain people express themselves in the world. For others, it’s a softer energy, a softer light. It might be a big bonfire — “hey, look at me” — or it might be the soft little flicker of a firefly. Either way, get into your light. Think about what you want to express, share, and give energy to as we move through this lunar cycle. The solar eclipse happens exactly at 1:37 PM Eastern on Wednesday the 12th, after which the moon goes void of course. This void of course feels different from Monday’s, when the moon was in Cancer. On Wednesday, after the buildup to the eclipse, we might feel tired, undirected, or caught in a lot of back-and-forth conversation that doesn’t quite take shape. That’s all totally fine. Conventional astrological wisdom says it’s actually ideal not to kick off a new project or idea on the first day or two after a solar eclipse new moon (the exact window depends on the aspects). It’s better to let the flame build slowly. Think of starting a fire in a campfire or fireplace: you want to see it catch low and steady. If it flares up too big too fast, it may burn through all the flammable material — the bark, the kindling — without developing the strength to actually catch the log. Then it doesn’t have the staying power to keep burning. So over the next couple of days, focus on building good structure — making sure you can actually sustain whatever idea or concept you want to focus on. With the moon void of course, it’s fine to gather material and share ideas, but hold off on commitments; put things in a place where you can revisit them before committing, because commitments made during a void of course moon don’t usually stick. The moon enters Virgo at 6:18 AM on the 13th. At that point, it’s building toward something that can shift. A good way to use this day is to work on routines or things you’ve already planned, while knowing things may change. The last aspect the moon makes before shifting into Virgo is with Uranus — the planet of change, revolution, freedom, and individual expression. So even the best-laid plans, which Virgos are certainly good at making, can shift. One great thing about Virgo energy: it’s an earth sign, but mutable earth. I think of Virgo as rich soil — not loose sand, but soil that moves easily enough to let a seed take root and grow into a stem. That’s actually perfect for a Uranus moment, where — oh, things change. The venue isn’t available. The lights went out from a thunderstorm. Something happens and the plan can’t come to fruition as expected. And it’s not that you can’t adapt — the important thing with the moon in Virgo is to allow room for whatever growth wants to happen. Another image for Virgo and Uranus together: think about how, before humans had fire under control, natural fires would enrich the earth. Devastating, yes, but also renewing. In some places, this is still done deliberately — people let the land rest, then burn the old growth to enrich the soil. Uranus is like lightning striking the earth, electricity going into the ground and enriching the loam. These sudden ideas, revelations, epiphanies, or upsets can steer us in new directions — leaps from point A to point F — but only if we have the adaptability and willingness to land wherever we end up. Keep that in mind heading into midday and mid-afternoon: pay attention to where you are in space, as I always say, because when Uranus is engaged, we’re often not paying attention to our surroundings — caught up in our heads, in conversation, or suddenly derailed. The moon goes void of course at 3:24 PM on the 13th, and stays void from late afternoon into evening. So know that whatever you’re doing Thursday, things might shift — even things you thought were wrapped up and finished might land differently than you expected, or not be received the way you intended. Friday is a full 24-hour void of course day, moon still in Virgo. The best way to use a long void of course like this — especially with the moon in Virgo — is to work on things already in motion. Don’t reinvent anything, and don’t start a new idea. Jot it down, plan it, but don’t launch it — void of course time isn’t well aspected for follow-through. That changes when we hit Saturday. Saturday and Sunday are the deep, supportive days to fully run with the new moon energy. It starts at 10:20 AM on Saturday the 15th, when the moon enters Libra, staying there through Sunday the 16th into Monday. This is the window for kicking things off — having the conversations, focusing on the creative idea, engaging in play, fully expressing how you want to dance with transformation and change. It can also just be about restorative fun, setting you up to feel invigorated as you move forward with whatever you’re creating or sharing. We’re in Libra energy over the weekend,

    Chiron Retrograde

Enjoy this relatively chill week — next week brings the eclipse, and we’re already moving into that arc. Eclipse season carries an electric energy: part acceleration, part strobe light, an intense wake-up call of information arriving all at once. Eclipses happen several times a year, but in 2026, with outer-planet movement concentrated in air and fire, this season feels especially charged for bringing things to light — something we’ll likely see clearly by late August into autumn. Monday, August 3 — Chiron Retrograde: Old Wounds Resurface Chiron — a centaur, part comet, part asteroid, with an irregular orbit — sits between Saturn and Uranus, and that position is key. It has a lot to do with our path toward freedom, self-knowledge, and a real sense of who we are as individuals within the collective. Saturn is the great taskmaster, moving in seven-year increments, which is why astrologers can track its cycles so precisely: “this happens at this age, that happens at that one”. The classic “seven-year itch” — jobs ending, marriages getting rocky, structures we’ve outgrown — is textbook Saturn. Chiron, by contrast, points us toward individual expression and the courage to step outside those structures. With Chiron retrograde starting Monday, some of us may notice — not necessarily today, but over the coming months — an old wound or pattern resurfacing, asking to be released. Known as the wounded healer, Chiron was a master of medicinal cures who lived in constant pain himself. (More on the myth at insightoasis.com — search “Mythology of Chiron.”) The moon is also in Aries Monday, adding instigating, spark-something-new energy, especially for air and fire signs — good for a new approach to something therapeutic, or a healing conversation. There’s a real acceptance that comes from working through a wound toward resolution, even when we thought it was already resolved. That’s the layered, ongoing work of becoming a more whole person. Monday into Tuesday — a waning moon stretch — is strong for finishing things and closing loops before the next lunar cycle. Keep your communication especially clear early Tuesday morning. Tuesday, August 4 — Void Moon, Then a Sweet Spot The moon goes void of course at 2:52 PM (all times Eastern), staying void through the evening until it enters Taurus at 10:35 PM — the start of a sweet spot for the week: messages landing well, creative work deepening. Although Tuesday evening or Wednesday may bring a slight rocky patch first. Wednesday, August 5 — Get Grounded Moon in Taurus invites attention to the physical body — natural for earth and water signs, more of a conscious effort for others. (I have zero earth in my chart, so I know this one well — it takes real intention to remember the body exists.) Good day to lock in routines: exercise, meal planning, anything that builds a steadier relationship with your physical self. Think of it like a puzzle you only give yourself a few focused minutes on each day — the point is showing up methodically, not perfectly. Wednesday into Thursday is strong for actually finishing what you set out to do. Thursday, August 6 — Restore and Unwind At 7:25 PM the moon goes void of course in Taurus for the rest of the evening — ideal for something restorative. A rich film, a good meal with good company, or just quiet comfort. Taurus wants touch and sensory ease, the simple pleasure of being cared for. Friday and Saturday, August 7/ 8 — Curious, Social, Productive Moon moves into Gemini: social, talkative, hungry for stimulation and play. Great for connecting with people, following through on conversations, and — if it’s a workday — genuinely productive. This connective energy ties into the broader Pluto-in-Aquarius theme: real community and neighborly connection matter more than ever, especially against a digital landscape that often pushes the opposite. Get outside, take a walk, talk to people — ideally including people who don’t fully agree with you, since that’s how divides actually shift. Gemini’s curiosity — the “why” a small child asks when observing the street in the backseat — is the theme here. Stay curious, keep asking questions, and trust that answers and connections will come, even when it’s not clear how or when. Sunday, August 9 — Ease Now, Implement Systems Later Moon goes void of course at 1:27 AM, enters Cancer at 3:46 AM, and stays there the rest of the day. Mercury also shifts into Leo around midday, setting up a longer void-of-course moon stretches next week. Cancer wants comfort, home, water, calm — a good day to rest and restore. But don’t get so relaxed you skip setting up and planning support systems for the weeks ahead. Heading into eclipse season, plans can get shaky (illness of a colleague has already thrown off one of my own commitments this week) — so build in backups where you can. Have a chill day. Aquarius Full Moon, Week of July 27, 2026

This is a really super week, especially the first couple of days — great for focusing, launching, outlining, and strategizing what you want to make happen. The rest of the week is dynamite too, but there are a few things to watch for. Regular listeners already know we’re in a stretch of long void-of-course Moon periods. That’s because the outer planets are sitting at early degrees of their signs — just passing a few degrees. So depending on the Moon’s sign, it may not form an aspect with another planet before changing signs. This shifts a bit with the faster-moving planets, like Mercury and Venus, but overall, expect these longer void periods for a while. What does void-of-course mean? In traditional astrology, that’s not a great time for follow-through on an idea, a passion, an impulse — since the Moon symbolizes how we feel about something. Maybe you’re at an exciting networking event, or meeting someone new, and you think things are really going to take off. That spark is real — it just may not have the staying power to carry forward… yet. So what do you do? Say you finally hear back from someone you’ve been trying to connect with — a cold call, a blind date, whatever — and it’s happening during a void Moon. Is it worth pursuing? Could be, depending on your personal chart. Mostly, it’s about taking time after to revisit it; add more fuel to the engine after, rather than locking anything in during the void. Touch on ideas and possibilities, but leave it open — “let’s revisit this before deciding.” Ideally, set that follow-up for when Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are all direct, which they are right now. Just avoid another void period. The 27th — Getting the Work Done A really strong day. Moon’s in Capricorn, so it’s all business — getting work done, bodywork, moving projects forward. Keep working on what’s already in motion, and use this to push through anything stuck from the recent Mercury retrograde. Mercury retraces its steps by week’s end, but there’s no reason not to act now — you may just be revisiting or clearing up misconceptions along the way. Especially into the afternoon: you need the support systems to carry this forward, including your own self-support. Astrology often surfaces what psychology calls projection — blaming someone else for what’s actually coming from us. Good day to ask: how am I getting in my own way? Am I invested enough? Have I picked the right partners? Moon in Capricorn tends to tease that out — we may like Sally or Mike, but will they actually get us there? Sometimes that means having the hard conversation. Past 8:15 p.m. Eastern, we move into a good cycle for figuring out how this clicks into place — bringing in the money, the people, the design, whatever gets you to “ah, it’s finally coming together.” The 28th — Show Up for the Routine In the wee hours on the 28th the Moon goes void at 2:11 a.m. Eastern (adjust for your time zone) until 9:46 p.m. that day, when the Moon enters Aquarius. Capricorn is not the most comfortable placement for a void Moon, but work can get done especially. when pre-planned. Some signs flow easily when void; Capricorn is taskmaster energy, though it’s used to working alone. Good day to focus on things already in process — routine work, showing up. Also great for anything therapeutic for the body: exercise, or finally booking that massage. Not a waste of time — it may fuel more action later in the week. The 29th — The Luckiest Day Moon enters Aquarius, building toward a full Moon exact at 10:36 a.m. This is a dynamite day, and the energy carries into the 30th. Why? The Sun is in Leo, conjunct Jupiter, exact at 8:18 a.m. Eastern. Some astrologers call a Sun-Jupiter conjunction one of the luckiest days of the year — it can be. Jupiter expands whatever it touches, so your personal chart matters: it’ll amplify whatever’s playing out at that degree for you. Pluto’s at an early degree of Aquarius, so the Sun opposes Pluto just before conjuncting Jupiter — meaning there’s also a Jupiter-Pluto opposition in the sky. Magnification all around, and intense — depending on where these planets land for you. Tremendous luck, yes — but you have to know yourself. “Know thyself” was inscribed at the temples of Apollo, and modern psychology says the same: what you don’t know about your unconscious is what trips you up. So it’s worth knowing where 6 degrees Leo falls in your chart — or where anything in Aquarius, Taurus, or Scorpio sits — since that’s the area of life getting the spotlight. Know the theme, and you can dance with it. That builds toward the full Moon. In Eastern time it peaks in daylight, so you won’t see it exact, though it’ll be lit up that evening regardless. What matters more: coming into that morning (or the night before) thinking about how you integrate self-expression — who you are, the energy you project — in service of your community. You don’t have to be an extrovert to embrace your intrinsic gift to the collective, since Moon in Aquarius is about how we function within it, now lit up by that Leo Sun. Worth noting: Aquarius, where the Moon sits, is the house opposite Leo. So if Jupiter’s expanding your first house — your persona, “here I am” — the Moon’s working your seventh, the house of partnership. The question becomes: how do you bring that Jupiter light to your partner, your spouse, whoever you’re in relationship with — in a way that gets real follow-through on what you’re building together? Moon in Aquarius is about the perspective you bring to collective understanding, lit by a Leo Sun that says: shine as an individual, even when that’s not comfortable. That matters right now — sharing ideas, even uncomfortable ones, is how we break through the polarization we’re seeing everywhere. We need to build each other up instead of fracturing and diluting our resources. This full Moon is especially good for pulling together what you want to drive forward and carry with you. Full Moons culminate, but they can also be the moment you turn the crank once and suddenly move faster, because you’ve integrated something and gained momentum. So even moving into the waning cycle, there’s still plenty of room to make things happen. We also have a Moon-Jupiter opposition alongside the conjunction, which can feel like “I’ve got too much going on.” Get clear on priorities, and make sure your partner or collaborators aren’t overwhelmed by the glut of enthusiasm and ideas. Manage that, and you’ll drive forward effectively. The 30th — Bounce Ideas, Don’t Decide Yet This energy carries through until the Moon goes void at 5:27 p.m. and stays void the rest of the evening in Aquarius — a good night to bounce off ideas and get feedback, without trying to finalize how to move forward until the void passes. Otherwise you’ll end up lost in places that don’t resolve. The 31st — Stay Connected to the Whole Moon enters Pisces at 8:14 a.m. Flow is easy today, but don’t get lost in the weeds. A friend and I were talking about this last week: when people get attached to a project, it’s easy to get lost in the details — “who does this" or, “I’m attached to this one piece” — before the concept or vision is fully understood. That leaves people working on a piece that never gets off the ground because it’s not connected to the whole. Stay connected to the whole today and tomorrow. If you’re feeling fractured, or headed down a dead end, watch for a bit of an eruption in the late afternoon or evening, with Moon-Uranus in the mix. Pay attention to where you are physically — frustration, feeling unheard, or being stuck in your head can mean losing track of your body in space, and accidents happen. The upside: this energy can jolt you out of a loop that wasn’t going anywhere — exactly what you needed to shake loose. August 1st — Big Picture First More dynamic energy, day and evening — a chance to get real perspective on that loop from the day before. Keep watching whether you’re lost in details instead of the whole picture. Here’s an example. Years back, I had a store, mid-renovation — new layout, new approach to everything. I was sitting on the floor putting books on shelves when a neighbor walked in, looked around, and said, “I don’t see how you’re going to open tomorrow.” Kind of great in an annoying way — I wanted to throttle him, full disclosure. But also, projection again: I thought, yeah, how am I going to do that? Once he left, I stood up and thought — books don’t have to be alphabetized, how do I make this look like a store? And that’s what I did. That’s the concept. Eventually you want everything at a level of perfection, but today and tomorrow, remember there will be time for that. Think big picture first — the details will reveal themselves when actually necessary. August 2nd — Give Yourself Space Moon goes void at 8:33 a.m. — another long stretch, until it enters Aries at 4:37 p.m. What I love about Sunday: a lot of traditions treat it as a day of rest, and this would be a lovely one for it. Moon in Pisces wants to drift, imagine, create, float, be in nature and beauty, listen to music. If you can’t fully do that, give yourself space any way — stare out the window, let yourself pause, say “let me think about this” instead of answering immediately. Once the Moon enters Aries, the dynamic shifts: whatever you needed space to think through, you’ll likely have more clarity on now — and the energy turns to wrapping things up and making it happen.
