    Hello and welcome listeners to Episode 32 of JwaC Presents Depp Dive: A Depper Look into Johnny’s Feature Filmography. Your host David Garrett Jr. is joined by his Co-Captain and wife, Jaime. For this episode, we have two first time watches for both of us. Jeanne du Barry (2023) is the first film and this is a period piece about a French court leading into the revolution. The Featured Reviews are the controversial Ice Cream Man (2026) and I’m pairing this with The Spiral Staircase (1946). This double feature is looking at a proto-slasher as a whodunnit with the Spiral Staircase. Ice Cream Man is a modern, bloodier take on the slasher.
